- A welcome sight at Newcastle Airport yesterday was this Jet2 Boeing 737-800 G-JZBP with newly fitted Split Scimitar Winglets.
Jet2 announced the refit program for their fleet of 90+ 737s and this si the first I have seen at our local airport.
Great to see these fuel-saving new winglets making their was onto the whole fleet of 737-800s.

Nice one with the split scimitar, i can't wait for the A321 here, tired of the 737 :)
They really are smart to see. Haha same here, I am so hoping we get 2 or so based here which would be nice 😁
I was taught to drive in a Scimitar, it was in an abandoned quarry during the six weeks school holiday
Haha not quite the same.
@@JonathanWinton123 up your way too
We’ve had G-JZBX at Newcastle. This is the first split scimitar in the Jet2 holidays livery.
@@joshscott4860Think he means the first one Jet2 have retrofitted that has visited Newcastle.
(Princess Anne Had one of those) if you get the reference 😄
Great capturing 🤩
Thanks for watching
God Jet2 we’re the last to keep the normal ones, two of them didn’t have winglets at all but times are changing I guess
They are changing to Scimitars now
may i ask, what video are you using in your video´s? Its has great quality and good sound.
