    this is literally the best crochet tutorial for a bucket hat i’ve come across. i’ve attempted at a bucket hat at least 6 times, tutorial after tutorial but could not seem to get it. but this one literally was the icing on the cake. thank u for this tutorial

    I recreated this hat after seeing your tictok using your rainbow bucket hat tutorial for the hat part but I was struggling with the horns and dont like like the way they turned out so thank you so much for uploading this so I can fix the horns:) btw love your channel!

    Just finished my first one and it’s the first bucket hat that didn’t fit too tight on the first go! So cute and easy to follow; I usually have trouble with working in the round but these horns were easy, even with the velvet yarn!

    Round 1: Magic circle, ch2 12dc slip stitch.
    Round 2: chain 2, inc in every spot slip stitch:
    Round 3: Chain 2, inc, 1dc, inc,1dc,inc (Repeat) slip stitch
    Round 4: chain 2, inc, 1 dc in next 2 stitch, inc (repeat)slip stitch
    Round5: chain 2 inc, 1dc in next 3 stitch, inc (repeat) slip stitch
    Round 6: chain 2, inc, 1 dc in next 9 stitch, inc, (repeat) slip stitch
    Round 7: chain 2, 1 dc in every stitch slip stitch. in next 6 rounds

    Hey there! I have a bit of a larger head and was wondering if you had any tips to make it larger? I am gonna go up a whole hook size for the hat. Thinking of possibly adding another row of hat and brim? I love this tutorial tho! It looks great otherwise 🤩💕💜

    GUYS BE WARNED YARN BRAND MATTERS. I was remaking this hat, but I used the lionhead brand of yarn. It turned out super floppy and didn't look good. Remade the hat with red heart white yarn, and it's working fine.

    I was never a fan of knitting but.. your tutorials are so easy to understand and it makes me hungry for knitting. I was never good at it before.
    Only I could not get velvet yarn so I did it with regular yarn.

      This isn't knitting, first of all, so you might want to check to see what you're using to make your hat. 🥰 Js. I really wish you the best luck tho. And regular yarn will work just fine.

      Including the last row of sc, I counted a total of 17 rows for the hat and 8 rows for each of the horns

      If your tension is looser than hers, that would do it. Or you mis-counted stitches somewhere. There's quite a few things that could've been done to make your hat bigger. Including your hook being a size bigger (5.5mm instead of a 5.0mm).
