    What does it mean you must undergo karma before you become a yoga teacher? I did yoga teacher training. My teacher reassure me that I’d be a good one because I have been through a lot of shit. I’m in the west. Does she mean the same thing? lol. I haven’t started teaching yet but plan to.

      @Ready.Set.Do.  День назад +1

      @@jenniferflower9265 it’s a great question! Def something I found myself wondering after the fact and kinda kicked myself for not asking Guru Pashupati at the time.
      My take is that by “undergoing karma”, he meant one has to experience the consequences (both positive and negative) of one’s past actions (including those in any previous lives) as part of the cycle of rebirth.
      I’m not sure if this helps but I highly recommend reading the Bhagavad Gita for more flavor on this as that’s the main source of my (limited) understanding of this very nuanced subject

      @Ready.Set.Do. I can just see another RUclips Guru, I've seen him talk a few times I strongly feel that this man is not awake, and in my personal view, if the man is not awake then he shouldn't be trying to lead or "teach" people.
      Sanatan Dharma is extremely profound, I just feel that about 95% of it is "Cultural Fluff" and look, obviously the masses, the everyday people need that fluff, it's positive and celebrates different aspects of life, but it's laborious and long and I can see that it takes people away from the actual, original purpose of Sanatan Dharma.
      For example, I have a friend I lived with from Pune, a follower of Sadhguru who spends HOURS a day doing poojas and yogasanas etc around a full-time job and he just finishes exhausted and stressed out and doesn't eat until 10pm at night.
      There are some advices in this interview that can help people but again, it's a very long winded way at finding truth and I feel that these RUclips Gurus know this and play on this to increase their following.
      What worked for me is this;
      - 3 Months staying with the Bwiti tribe in Gabon participating in Iboga plant medicine ceremonies and being consistent with the life advice given there.
      - STRONG/HEAVY Kundalini Yoga like So-Ham Kriya that takes you straight there into experience! - Rather than Surya Namaskar etc and other Hatha Yoga practices that dont offer much more than healthy and flexibility in the medium to short term
      - Shoonya Meditation 2x per day as initiated and taught by Sadhguru (Sadhguru is the real deal but waters it down for the masses)
      - Self Enquiry as taught in the Ribhu Gita and endorsed by Sri Ramana Maharishi. Mooji and others are lineage holders and especially he teaches it well here on RUclips. It's nothing mystical or ritualistic nonsense, down to earth, no nonsense Self Enquiry. If you're sincere enough and intense in this, other practices aren't necessary and others just act as help/aids.
      Aum Nah Shivaya chanting 108x per day (roughly 12.5 mins) no other mantras are needed. He is both Shiva and Shakti, no Devi worship is needed and it takes you straight to the point without any fluff or unnecessary actions.
      The Hundred Thousand Songs of Milarepa are an amazing read also to start your "journey" with, but it's not actually a "journey" at all, it's just a process of waking up and realising that you're ego isn't real and all that you're looking for is right here and now, like Krishna says in Gita, it's at the end of your nose! Then schools of Yoga practices tip of nose gazing 😂
      So that's why I smell bull. I appreciate the poojas of Sanatan Dharma, they're beautiful and artistic and they mean something, they're there to remind you of the only reason we're in a human body - to wake up! But it's a waste of time doing them everyday. It's spiritual/cultural masturbation if you ask me.
      If you want to wake up, condense your "Sadhana" with the dynamite stuff and just enjoy your life living in reality, appreciate everything, it's all teaching you something and just remember and ACCEPT that there IS NO blue man in the sky sending you rainbows or healing, it's YOU! The mantra is a coded sound that effects reality.
      AUM NAMAH SHIVAYA - It is YOU! You just have to wake up, see it, enjoy it, then just enjoy the rest of your life. Don't waste it "searching" it's here and you are it.

      @@vernman1976 haha you do realize it's tricky to project what one is seeing in their mind's eye on a screen randomly for others to see? I'm not trying to discredit what you're saying, I just see the meeting divine entities phenomenon more as a compass personally in that it is possible to do it if one puts their mind to it.
      At least that's what I gather from my very limited understanding on this subject..
