I'm no pro, but Simon's Go-To shot looks exactly like OMP's standard drive and we all know OMP finds every fairway. 🙂
Watched thie video this morning and tried it out on a dog leg where the tee shot has to go straight under some trees, it worked 100%. Thank you Simon, another great tip that has helped me.

Perfect for first hole at my course, 390 yards elevated green water 70 yards of the tee, water left trees right you need the middle of the fairway. This is the shot for me because from anywhere in the middle of the fairway I have a club in my bag that will hit the green
It's looks like stack and tilt but with a short follow through
thanks for this lesson. I'm a sky rocket driver hitter.
When I'm confused on the driving range. I drop a ball on the grass and hit driver off the deck until the anger is directed into the ball.
It settles me. And I know if I can hit it, I can hit anything in my bag.

Well, well ... tried this at the range today and it worked every time. Only lost about 15 yards in total distance, but thats better than 15 yards in the trees.

Trevino did this a lot , hence he was such a straight hitter
I think he was a great drawer of the ball but my memory my be failing me 🤔🤔🤔
@@jpcoll2011 he could make the ball do what ever he wanted. Good wind player. This was his go to drive in windy conditions , straight and low.

Maybe, I got this off of OMP, and not know it, BUT,
My under a tree swing, with no room for a back swing, AND, no room for a follow thru, I choke down to the bottom of the grip, and put a stiff, hard putting stroke on it.
Tree in my way, aim a little left, open stance, ball back in my stance, and cut across the ball, small fade, and the ball went well over, 150 yards.
Wow!

Thinking about your own golf game is what 99% of golfers don't do. And it shows on the results.
Nobody ever ever suggest just hitting a 7 iron or lower just to get the ball in play !.. look at your hcp and play to it !

Too much thinking imo. If you're 7 under handicap on the 18th tee you're clearly playing well. Stay positive. Stay committed and trust your ability. Trouble left and right. What trouble ?
