Things get HOT in South America

I'm running my sixth marathon in six days and the heat index exceeded 98 degrees. How did I get here? Well, six days after I announced my retirement from professional racing I got the call. An offer to run 7 marathons on 7 continents in just one week. That call was on a Saturday. I bought a ticket on Sunday, boarded the plane on Monday, and landed in Africa on Tuesday.
