They moved the release date like 10 times prolly just becouse of that, im hoping its gonna be fine but it fuckin pisses me off i could run RDR 2 at ultra, but will have to play this on low... Those requirements are fucked up.
They claim that they have seriously modified the engine to suit their needs in order to avoid the standard freezes and slumps of UE5. How it turned out, we will find out soon. At least ~35 fps is declared on XboxS, which means that even on relatively weak systems it will be possible to play relatively comfortably
They re-wrote the engine for that reason. That's what's supposed to be done to get optimization out of UE5. At least from what I've gathered. Im no technical expert.
system requirements are abysmal for a hobo simulator, 160gb of ssd storage for 10 locations which are empty and have nothing going on. Nah they tripping. modders will give us a prioper stalker 2 in time
I'm hoping it's optimize....playing on a laptop with nice enough specs but my GPU only has 4gb vram.....played Incursion Red River and Nobody Wants to Die, it was fine but it has noticeable framedrops but very playable on medium settings
Even RTX4090 like mine struggles to hit 60 fps in 4k without optimization how would like these players with 3070 and 4070 trying it to play at 4k don't even think about it. Just play it on 1440p on 60 fps, or Optimize in-game settings turn on FSR frame generation and play it.
I just bought a new one like month and half ago. Im pretty sure ill be running it on at least high settings if not max. I have a 4k monitor just not sure how 4k is gonna run.
Those requirements are pure lunacy - this game doesnt look all that ground breaking and i will have to play this on low-mid when i couldve played Red Dead 2 at ultra easily. You wont tell me this game looks like something that should eat up more than RDR 2...
Rockstar's GTA VI requirements will be..... "interesting" to look at, just like this game im sure. They'll probably demand a Core i9 14900 and RTX 5090 as recommended immediately.
This really shows how lazy game devs have become, to optimize their game. The old Stalker games used to be "games of the people", when it comes to system requirements, now it's suddenly only a privilige for the super wealthy. How many slavs are gonna be able to afford this "slavic" game?
Bought a new setup with 4080 Super and I7-14700kf just yesterday to replace my 3070 Ti. Originally planned to buy it just before KCD II because of the 50 series possibly coming out. But the gameplay footage of Stalker 2 and my fond memories of the old games made me get it now. I've waited for this game for 15 years. I want to get the best out of it 😊 I can exicitedly say that I'll be out there rocking 4k Ultra ❤
Alas, the art of reasonably sized games is being slowly forgotten. The only "recent" game I can think of that doesn't have ridiculously bloated assets is Deep Rock Galactic - its download size is well under 4GB!
There was also nothing presented that validates your opinion of it being an "unoptimized mess." I mean look I know ppl like you are gonna come out of the wood works anyway, but let the game release first before you start spewing your BS everywhere.
@@Terp-daze i played the leaked version of the game like 7 mounts ago now that was unoptimized did you watch the new trailers the games visuals look damn amazing
I knew I couldn't handle high but I can probably handle mid range which should be nice.
This makes me glad I've got a Series X as my old laptop would be crushed.
I'll be playing on low settings. I'm thankful that the game will support AMD FSR 3.1 with frame generation, so I should be able to get 60 fps
I can do high but im wondering if this is with DLSS or without.
Definitely assuming this is gonna be un optimized. Like most games on unreal 5 or just modern games

How do you know how many locations there are and that there's "nothing going on?" You're the one "trippin".....severely.
GSC was never particularly good at making theirs game run well, despite looking like a complete ass. It's a tradition at this point.
high settings it is for me . Jeez i think this is the first proper next gen game lol

8GB 3060ti, 5600x, 16GB DDR4. I'm aiming for mostly mid settings at FHD.

Can I play with the native voice actors and English translated subtitles?
@@samohteel4393 yes, I plan to do the same
Nice! Thanks for answering! @@mistermugsy
Ill be able to run it on high, just built a new PC.

Assuming the requirements actually apply like on 5% of games nowadays
Guess I'll be running it on high.
im going for Epic settings 5120 x 1440 Ress i7 8700k 32gb RTX 3090 And some FG mods aiming 100+ fps
your 3090 cant even reach 60 fps without frame generation, don't even dream about it
@@Nybis haha playing it 75 / 90 fps everything ultra fg mod dlss balance 5120 x 1440 res
i can handle high. but serously 160 GB that take too long to download OMG

Same bro. About month and a half ago. 4080 super, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X, 32gb ram. 4k monitor. I should be able to get max. At least high settings.
this is standard for the past 5 year or so

There’s tons of games that have smaller sizes, perhaps you aren’t looking in the right place
My 4090 will go brrrrr lol
Unoptimized mess tbh. There was nothing presented on the screen to validate such absurd hardware specs.
