First time I ever got drunk was on that trip invited with a group in Covent Garden. I fell in love with UK life and moved here. This song is an anthem for that awakening.
I agree, I was a teen when Corey was popular (my friends and I enjoyed multiple viewings of Lucas and The Lost Boys), and to me this song is very metaphorical and really kind of touching--to me it's just about asking where all the years have gone, why so much has changed--and in poor Corey's case, not for the better....he was very talented, may he RIP
