Sometimes you need a custom solution. And sometimes you just need to use what you have on hand. Are PrintABloks only good for toys? Maybe not!

"PrintABlok is a pretty cool toy."
The 3D Printing Professor:
"You fool!"
I would cheat a little and make the triangular brackets as new parts, maybe open frame, with just the necessary PrintABlok sockets built in, probably quicker to make as the number of sockets is much reduced to just those required, the sockets being quite intensive to print. However as a noobie to these blocks I thnk the use of these for knocking up temporary jigs for model building and other 'holding' tasks is great. In addition they are a great way of using up remants of filament spools and performing test prints with new materials, Suface finish with blocks, detailed small parts by just printng connectors, which means I throw away much less filament, that has got to be good! Incidentally what CAD tool do you use, I use SketchUp Make 2017 which does not like importing STL, I found the 'negative' socket model the other day which makes creating custom parts so much easier. I have been in my second childhood since I retired early, this system and the scope to expand it is rather theraputic (wonder if that's the right spelling). Jim
I say, give it a shot and let me know how it goes.
This takes me back to Make Magazine style project videos, I really rather enjoyed this 🙂
On my extensive to do list, I would like to make a modeling tool kit for print a blocs similar to what BYU CMR has done for Legos
On my extensive todo list, I would like to see communities of AFOP. Adult fans of PrintABlok.
