No way this is affordable for us hobbyists, but this gives us a glimpse of what's to come in the future! This technology is absolutely insane, and the quality/level of detail is unmatched, and you know for sure that, eventually, this technology will be smaller and more affordable for the little guys! When that day comes, I'll be first in line!
Just a matter of time some very smart and persistent people makes a DIY version. I don't consider myself to be very smart and much less persistent but I will try making my own, so far it looks like they are using ink jet technology but with a special UV resin, so we need to figure out the rheological properties of the resin, the size of the ink jet nozzles and how they work (I guess they are piezoelectric) and all other details that make this possible.

I had my family 3d model printed with Mimaki and they came out amazing.
as a hobbyist id never be able to afford one but very cool to see
