I really wanted this to be as good as the hype. I might have to go with a GoPro Hero 5. I will try out 1 more company to see if a GoPro quality action cam for cheap with an external mic is possible.
I always try to buy everything high quality man. I mean it's a lot better to spend a good chunk of change once, rather then spending money multiple times for inferior equipment. That's just my opinion though.
I will give 1 more unknown company a chance. Amazon has a great return policy and this is going back. If the next one sucks Im going back to GoPro. My first GoPro lasted 8 years and if broke due to it falling off the mount while I was driving. This camera was almost good , I was actually annoyed with the audio issue because I have an hours worth off offroading footage with ruined audio,
probably better as a still cam. audio sounded tinny.
GoPros Audio Quality with the mic in the Vehicle is on point. This sounded like a split between outside and inside. I will give 1 more company a chance. I am determined to get a good Non GoPro with external mic option for cheap. If not I'm going to keep using $50 Hero 3s
Thanks for reviewing this one. I've been looking to get a couple of action cams for my adventures. I'm thinking I could get by with one cheaper one like this one for secondary shots and fork out for a GoPro for the audio and better video for primary shots. I had been thinking of using my iPhone as the secondary, but it's getting up there in age and the battery is nearly caput. Plus, a lot of my trips involve water and don't want to risk the phone going to the bottom of a lake. Lots of used GoPro's out there for cheap as well.

Super disappointing I thought this was going to be a winner. Go Pros Audio is so on point. I need a good action cam for Tracker Vs ZR2 I might have to go with GoPro again
@@JohnDrivesAnything all the ones i see on youtube so called "budget" are around $200-$300. that's not budget for my wallet. there used to be a company called EKEN that made a decent action cam for around $70 but they seem to have gone out of business since i cant find their cameras anymore.
My Budget is $100 which is a used GoPro Hero 3. Once I get my refund for this Camera I will try one more Camera and go with the $100 class. This one had a ton of hype I think the $20 Piwoka I reviewed was better just to bad there was no External Mic option
