The record button rattles a lot so If you have this camera or you're thinking about getting it put a piece of tape on the record button. In this video when the camera is mounted to the handlebars you can hear that thing rattling about like crazy and that's what makes the audio of that segment so bad and that rattling drowns out any other audio like talking. I put a piece of tape on the record button and over the mic to block a little wind and boom halfway decent very acceptable audio
I think for the price of the camera and all the gear you get its amazing value and quality the batteries dont last long so i bought some bigger ones off ebay and 2 chagers and it works amazingly
ok i bought the camera and doing a bit more research after realizing it did not come with an sd card... here are extras i have picked up before even using it: 1. dont use a cheap sd card to avoid audio delay issues... 2. carry a bit of tape; if planning on using on the handle bars in the order to tape off the mic, or it will pick up wind and rattling... 3. deleting files is a hassle, but understandable... 🙋🤦🤷 anything else i should look out for or life hacks to go along with all of this?..
What if you put a piece of thick tape (like some gaff tape) over the microphone in the body of the camera (to effectively mute it) and then use a plug in microphone as the main audio source? Have you tried that to see if that helps the audio quality good enough that you don't have to result in doing voice overs for everything?
@Toby.Runs. at the time I messaged you the camera was ordered and arriving tomorrow, the day it arrived I could tell it was already used, it had scratches and didn't work... sent it back the next day, sorry I couldn't test out the idea :/
Hi Lee, I have just watched your video on the Wolfang Ga100 excellent oversight thank you. One question i have is, how do you you unwanted delete files on camera please Steve Wade
I went out today on my dirtbike with this cam on my helmet and filmed in 4k 30fps and it was ok. I got home and noticed I didn't have the EIS turned on, so maybe that will help. However the audio was outstanding for me. I had the mic that came with it on the inside of my helmet (so wind doesn't hit it) and it was amazing. Like crisp n clear, even picked up the bikes noise beautifully. I'm going to try 1080p next so I can see if the 60 FPS really helps :)
Nice vid, Can't tell if they removed the Cam lens, factory film ? I did not & in another vid unboxing, it was a struggle to remove, it. Don't want to scratch the actual lens ? I can't see any covering ? (Maybe I got returned box from Amazon ? Will test cam on a sunny day to make sure.
I just ordered one and was wondering about how large of an SD card it will take and how long will it record before running out of battery and disk space. I hope it's at least 64GB SD card, not 32.
apologies, i know this is an old video, and i know this has probably been asked a couple times...... but can this work as a webcam? also if so are there any other items i would need for it to pickup on the pc? again apologies
Just got one for my step daughters birthday gonna be used for horse riding so I hope the footage will sound better as walking on a horse is not as fast as riding a bike as for galloping I don’t know we will have to see.
How does it go onto the riding hat? I’ve just received my GA100 but no clear instructions. Also noticed I’m missing the cable ties, some white pads and cleaning cloth.
Hi please can you help me out with this, im new this camera stuff, im wanting to know how long recording time do you get with a 64gb sd card and how do i get it from the sd card to my tv, also does it have to be a 64gb sd card or can you use 128gb?? Thanks in advance
@@Jaex3dits NO!!! DO NOT BUY!! I bought mine and it broke within 2 days, I didn't drop it, I didn't put it under water, I didn't even use it for actualy filming, all I did was charge it and test it and one day I charged it and it got super hot, started smoking and stopped working, I immediately sent it back and got a refund but I had to pay for shipping. :( do not buy
Hi Lee, I've just got a GA100 and I'm impressed with the build quality and operation but I can't figure out how to delete either photos and video, can you or anyone else please show me how. Further, can anyone supply a link where I can download the user manual for the GA100 Thanks.
When in file browsing mode (which you can select by pressing repeatedly on POWER button), select picture / video and hold the UP button for a while. It prompts you to delete the file.
Great review. I’ve just bought one of these purely for underwater use. Is it meant to come with an SD card? Also how do you transfer your videos to your phone? Thanks in advance
After watching this video review, I have decided to look for a different camera. However, I appreciate the helpfulness of the review. 10/10 cheers

in regards to the external microphone, there should be a setting to switch between mics in
I have noticed that the audio is very very delayed when I activate EIS... even 3 or 4 seconds.
What do you think about it?
Cheap SD card

Does this work whilst power is plugged in for long periods of filming? I need to film approximately 5 hours

Can you use this as just a hand held camera for video and photos , just be for fun 😊
Yeh you can. Will be better if you screw to a small hand held tripod
@@LeesTechRoom Thankyou mate I’ll do that

How do you focus in and out. Close and near
I almost bought this camera to put on the handlebar. But after your video I better not… Thx for the review 👍🏻
Camera is great, just not on handlebars. It comes with all you need to mount on helmet, which is best

hey, just wondering how you had the camera connected to your helmet, I would like to do that but don't want to buy the wrong mount etc.
No need to buy anything. All parts required are included with the camera
is the remote waterproof?
No, it's not

Put the micro sd card in ur phone
Okd question, but just for others wondering, no action cam comes with an SD card, lots of reasons, but many people already have them.
Hi Lee,do any of your videos show on how to setup this type camera to the App.be good to hear from you, cheers 👍
Hi, Which app are you referring to?
does it comes with an ssd?
no
Thank you so much earned a sub kind man ❤❤
Awesome cheers mate and thanks for watching. Hopefully you find more enjoyable content
Thank you Lee, your video was very helpful. I don't use 4K either...
Glad it was helpful!

how do I mount to a normal bicycle helmet!!!
Definitely not a handlebar cam.
Definitely can be fitted to the bars.
@lewiscampbell145 definitely looks rubbish, though, due to poor electronic image stabilisation. 😂.
you cant complain for a comfortable 45 pound.
If they sale that Wolfgang camera at the 99¢ and more store for $4.98 i'll buy it.
thanks for the demo, one camera NOT to buy
Didnt know I was going to be in this one. Footage is cool but, yeah sound is awful
I'll make you famous 😆
