SCOTT!! DUDE!! You are an ARTIST!! Another awesome creation! I’m a broke down retired pipeline welder who sits most of the day with a bottle of rum watching the squirrels and coyotes all day but you are inspiring me to do something.
Well, that means a lot to me! Making stuff, doesn't matter what brings a joy and purpose to our lives. Well if you get stuck in and you do make something, send me a picture if you can. All the best and say hello to the Squirrels and Coyotes for me.
Right when I was thinking, no shroud, must be flux core wi... then there it was. Written on the board 😉. Beautiful build as always. Thanks for Sharing.
So I thought I would go and have an afternoon kip, next minute I'm watching another of your great videos.... Cheers mate, sleeping is overrated compared to getting inspired!!
Another great video. You had me wondering why you didn't joint the two shelf pieces (for the top shelf) until I saw you install the shelves and realized you had no room at the top of the frame to get a full shelf in. That split shelf was a neat way around that. Enjoyed watching all of it. Thanks mate.
Thank you Paul - I am trying to get some metal blackener like Jax but it's really hard to get over hear in Australia for some reason (Dangerous Goods freight I think).
hey Scott... I keep coming back watching this video... something screams at me that this could be paired one on each end of a TV stand. I'm not sure what the middle would look like yet but dang dude... I really like this work. This is a very fine piece!
Once again Scott I am inspired by the level of perfection you attain in your projects. Beautiful workmanship seems so inadiquite for what you produce. Your videos too are without a doubt really great to watch. Thank you so much for sharing with us mere mortals, Please keep up the awesome work. Take care, All the best from London UK.
Thanks mate! The thing with finishing (as you know I'm sure) is that it's not apply and its done (damn it). Apply, let dry, sand, apply, let dry (and find a dust free environment) etc. I did 3 coats. Often I do more and sometimes I use wax as well. I might make an oil immersion bath ;) Ahhh it's not so bad, it's all part of the fun.
I wish my students would learn that finishing takes time. It's so often the least thought about process and needs more than a day (which isn't a full day for students) to do well.

Hi Ian, oh yes I've taken heaps of questions on that so I thought it might be wise to write on the board. Cheers mate, all the best!

If only I could weld half as good as you can. You provide so much inspiration.
Thanks again Rendel! It's all practice and a good machine helps.
Why is the sound of hammering in high speed so satisfying? Great video and project!
I know what you mean! Thanks Travis!
in Brazil, a workshop like this is surreal, the guy works all his life and does not buy half the machines.
I'm very fortunate and I count my blessings!
A true professional at work. Or did I mean perfectionist?
Done it Again! After 2am still watching clips So addictive.. Great stuff..
Dedicated :) Thanks!
Said they were too big. I think he was making them to fit that way and recess the slides. Great job!
Thank you. I made the drawer slightly too large to fit so I had two remove a small amount. (Accident)
So I thought I would go and have an afternoon kip, next minute I'm watching another of your great videos.... Cheers mate, sleeping is overrated compared to getting inspired!!
