Here in the USA we would use a wet/dry vacuum to suction all the debris up . Then a electric power washer / spray cleaner and microfiber towel to clean it the best .
It was too late to use suction here. Will need to be more regular with the cleaning. Will have to be careful with the power washer though. Water might go into the AC duct But yes what you described would be the ideal way

@@TheMuser mY 2020 Toyota Camry has an open air intake . Which I stuff a microfiber towel into to keep out water .
