Hey man. Nice walk-through. I have a mk6 Jetta 5 and I have an stage 1. Do you know if the monifold you put on is it compatible with my Jetta? Also how many hp will it get?
Any basic charger will work. I just have a small trickle charger. I would recommend having the charger plugged in for a little while before starting the process to ensure the battery is at its optimal level.
@@VoyageRC thought so lmao never done anything like this before, gonna throw stage one on my passat i just need a new crank pulley 😑 sorry for the noob comment, thank you!
Hey man, so I just did the Stage 1 IE tune on my golf 2.5, But the speed limiter is still there(123mph max), and gears still shift at 6k. The only thing changed after tune is i can rev to 7k in park or neutral. Also don't really feel any difference in power. Should I flash the stock tune then try flashing stage 1 again? Thanx
@@VoyageRC oh I see but I wonder why did the speed limiter did not get disabled since it says that on IE website. Will reflashing help or something wrong with my tune?

It’s compatible if you have the 2.5 and electric power steering. The IE website has the dyno graphs to show you the differences.

The car doesnt need to be running when you turn the ignition back on?
It would not be able to run. It is in the middle of writing the tune that tells the engine how to run. Just needs to be in the on position.

Were you able to disable dtcs with the tool?
With the IE Stage 1 tune, can we get the crackle option on audi RS3?
I am unsure if there is an option for that.
Can you do it on a stock engine or you need to change your manifold, I have a 2.5 mkv jetta
Stage 1 can be done on stock engine. Stage 2 requires the manifold. Best to do the power kit at that point.
Does it matter what band the manifold is or does it have to be a IE manifold
IE would be preferred as the tune is based on that manifold, but if you can find another short runner manifold it should work too.

The shift points won’t change without doing the trans tune. The stage 1 only tunes the engine.
