Can I use a substitute for fleece (ie interfacing) such as felt ? Would it be possible to make the whole thing with felt ? What size is the heart button? Thanks ! I am looking at inexpensive ways to make a batch for a local charity.
Hi Inga. Here is the link to Making Handmade Dolls: ruclips.net/video/xTRSY66wPYw/видео.html Glad you liked the Easter basket tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sheryl! In the video you mentioned that the lining fabric was cut larger than the outside fabric in order to make the wide band at the top of the basket, but in the instructions it appears as if both pieces are cut the same size. Just wondering if the lining should be cut a bit wider to allow for the band? Thanks very much for this cute project!! 🐰🐰🐰🐰
Hi Maurice. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The lining fabric should be cut 7.5" wide by 20.5" long. Sorry for the confusion 😥. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Totally a cute idea for any special occasion! My sewing machine has a feature that sews the buttons on, so would you recommend doing that before the lining goes in?
Hi Susan. Yes, I would stitch the buttons on by sewing machine before you stitch the basket together. Glad you liked the Easter basket tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi This is adorable. Where can I find the instructions for the stuffed rabbit that is barely showing behind you? I made very small ones a few years ago but would like to make a nice size one like that one. Thanks in advance Love watching your channel.
Hi Caroline. Here is the link to the country bunny tutorial: ruclips.net/video/qat5N2H9LDM/видео.html This is in my sewing tip episode 45. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Sherrill, in. The supplies list, for handle, it says 1” (2). But it doesn’t give the length. In the transcript, you indicate the fleece for the strap should be 1 1/2 “ wide. And 1/2” shorter than strap material. Can you clarify, how long and wide should material for strap be?😊
Hi M. Sorry for the confusion. I have updated the cutting instructions for the basket handle. Fabric for the handle is 3.5" W x 18" L, and the fusible fleece is 1.5" W by 17.5" L. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
When I try to make the circle I'm not able to use the 3 1/2 inch mark. That completely covers the folded 7" square. Should this be 3 1/4 to get that circle? thanks

Hi M. Sorry for the confusion. I have updated the cutting instructions for the basket handle. Fabric for the handle is 3.5" W x 18" L, and the fusible fleece is 1.5" W by 17.5" L.
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sherrill are we supposed to use the fusible fleece on the liner as well?
Hi Barbara. You only need to put the fleece onto the fabric for the outside. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Sherrill what seam allowance should I use to sew the bottom of the basket?
Hi Barbara. Use 1/4" wide seam. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Thank you
