Make a furnace stack dedicated specifically to iron plates for steel, it's the best way to make sure you have a decent supply

does helmod work with mods that change recipes?

i would recommend building the bus with more space in-between greater lanes, at least 4 spaces , build a larger amount of bus length before building production areas , this will keep it more organized. this also allows for more throughput by having more belts for each material.
