This is a great little camera, video quality is great as well. You might want to change the title of your video though, this doesn’t record VR (180°). Just 3D.

I just received my camera today. You covered many things I have questions about. Thanks.
With taking photos, it looks like the EGO's auto focus system needs to be tapped on the screen to focus on an object, its not constantly looking for subjects at center point, is that correct? In video mode its safe to say that the EGO will indeed auto focus on subjects that enter the view when its recording?
Can you upload the video and images to a Quest 3 and view it on the headset?
If you can access your PC, with your Quest3 you can watch any video your computer can play. I use Virtual Desktop to do that.
Are the video files ready to watch using a vr headset, like let's say meta quest 3, or is some special conversion needed?
Yes, ready to go.
I heared the fov isn't really big, when watching those videos in vr, do you really feel like being inside of the video or is it basically just a window which is 3D? @@Htbaa
@@FateEscape no it’s just a 3D video in a 16:9 aspect ratio, like watching a regular 3D movie. It’s not 180° 3D VR where you’re in the scene. For that you’ll need something like the discontinued Vuze XR. But the video quality of the Ego 3D is much better than that of the Vuze.
If you have a VR headset just lookup some Ego 3D videos on RUclips.
@@Htbaa Alright, thanks for you response. I've been looking for some 180/3D cameras quite some time now and i can't seem to find one that's cheap and if there is one, it has been discontinued already. The Calf looks interesting, but it's a quite a huge investment.
@@FateEscape what I’ve seen from Calf on DeoVR is that it’s not too impressive. The dual lens for certain Canon cameras is of very high quality, but again very expensive.
The Vuze XR isn’t of too high quality either and since it has been discontinued, requires a mobile app for changing settings and a PC/Mac for (no longer maintained software for) processing the video I’d stay away from that as well. I own one and it has given me some videos I’m very fond off, but these days I prefer the Ego 3D despite it not being 180° VR 3D.
Are there any software for editing the 3d video, I just want to do trimming, nothing fancy
For just that any editor would do. The camera outputs 3D SBS video, no further processing required.
Can the camera be used when charging?
Yes, you can remove the battery and plug an external battery bank as well.

Received my camera yesterday. No problems with the WI-FI. It works on a 5g frequency. Check your router
If you have a router problem, you can enable a hotspot on the camera itself and connect your smartphone or tablet to it at 5g to control the camera

Can you make wiggle 3d photos with this camera? Can you also make a video with the direct photos in the video. ❤
Since this camera takes two frames side by side, you should be able to make the wiggle pic.

It's OK. iPhone 15 Pro is way better.
I bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max and after playing around with the spatial videos and comparing them to Qoocam, I ordered this little camera.
Unfortunately, the spatial videos from iPhone 15 are not "deep" and have no strong 3D effect.
Some say spatial videos look more immersive when viewed on Apple Vision Pro. It is just too expensive so I settled on Quest 3.
