I'm late to the party, but this kit is still worth it in 2023. The Falconfire will now cost you ~$30 on Amazon, and the kit is now ~$75, but the result is still worth it. An upgraded spring is mandatory to keep up with modern stuff, and that's another ten bucks, so you're getting into this for over a hundred bucks. You can muzzle load it, you can shotgun load two short darts, and you can hold the slide back and decock it. The Worker Harrier that came out recently comes with a proprietary 5 round magazine that doesn't seem to fit into anything else.... but it fits in this, and gives a VERY sleek profile. There's also holes under the barrel to mount another Picatinny rail, for a laser or a light or something. This thing is STILL excellent.
While the Falconfire parts can't take the spring load higher than 10-12kg, the SPAMF kit can. I switched out the weak catch with a Sharpfire one and loaded it up with an 18kg #62 Hillman and it held up just fine.
I don't recommend the 18kg as the slide prime on a Falconfire isn't very grippy. The sharpfire is easier to prime with 18kg. I currently am using a Turf 10kg in mine with Gavin's spacer and love it just fine.
I have certainly heard that! The 7kg spring feels pretty good now and for my purposes I likely won't be upgrading it much further. But pretty cool seeing just how far people are pushing them.
I just got my own SPAMF and I experienced the same problem that you mentioned(the darts getting stuck) with the accustrike darts. What I did to fix this was to add an extra o ring to the plunger head
In many ways it could make for a good primary but yes I could certainly see this as a secondary. The trick is getting a good holster and maybe even a shorter magazine to fit while holstered.
Making a low fps half dart blaster seems a bit counter productive since half darts are more for distance and accuracy so this kit is a bit gimmicky. Half darts were started for competitive play and this blaster is not for that but it seems like a fun option for those who may not be able to mod. To each it's own
I now have a 7kg spring and it does hit at or above 100 fps. While that power might be lower than what you consider "appropriate" for half darts, the accuracy is still quite good as is the form factor. Depending on playstyle, this could be a fine blaster for competitive games capped at 150 fps. Personal preference indeed.

And now it's time for the next stage in spamf evolution: pump-action!....wich would make it a pamf...go gavin fuzzy! We believe in you!
that would make it a PPamf actually
imagine pronouncing that
I’ve heard so many people want this I might have to design one...
Took me a minute to notice that wasn't a watermark in the lower left corner, but just a sticker sitting on your desk. :)
Sometimes lazy just works.
Btw changing the catch to a sharpfire catch which is more solid, makes it able to take a 12 to thirteen kilo spring.
I'd recommend a 9kg ;) The worker 9kg seems to be the sweet spot between prime weight and performance output.
How hard is it hitting with the 9kg spring?
Captain xavier did a video on it i think it was hitting 120
Looks like a TEC-9
snipping's a good job mate
I’ve been looking for a nerf tec 9…
Now I’ve found it
a spring powered smg?
*Impossible*
the 9kg spring gets a consistent 120. It's not to bad to prime and hella accurate.
looks like a tec-9
Mine came in yesterday and I love it
I’ve been using the 9kg in mine and getting 140-150’s
That's pretty good!
Where did you get the 9kg spring from. And like what type is it. A 9kg retaliator spring?
@@micheallaska5954 yeah any retaliator springs fit in the falcon fire plunger tube. I just buy worker ret springs.
Run it in a war
But...I just did run it in a war. Unless of course you mean for an I'd Run That episode.
Beret yes that
Beret
Awesome review. Keep up the good work.
That was an awesome battle. Cant wait to shoot foam again

Of course he sold out yesterday
I got a 12kg Worker retaliator spring in mine right now, taking it without issues so far
Omg you HAVE to paint the handle white!
これすごい良さそう、再販待ってます!
Is it me or does it look like a TEC-9?
TEC-9 RUSH B Do not stop
Nicholas Tan c96 to me
You say sometimes, but I've never seen you not wear a beret
I mean... they may as well add the circular barrel shroud to make it look like a TEC-9. Its already pretty close.
I tagged beret out during endwar
Nerf Tec-9?
Give it the right bodykit and it'll be a semi-auto Tec-9
When is I'd run this in war 14 coming out
July 5th
@@beretnarf I demand the episode now
Make an fake video of I'd run it on war but it just you fingergunning a wall
What FPS are you getting with the 7kg?
Usually 100-110 FPS
Sorry for the spam comments but I DIDNT REALIZE HOW CRINGEY I SOUNDED WHEN ASKING ABOUT THE SPRING
Nice
Where can i get this? it isn't on his etsy.
Ah bummer, must still be out of stock. Hopefully he'll have them back soon!
Thatcatguy They tend to go quick, it also takes time to make them, he’s backloaded now but just keep checking
Would this make for a good secondary? I feel it could as it's relatively small
In many ways it could make for a good primary but yes I could certainly see this as a secondary. The trick is getting a good holster and maybe even a shorter magazine to fit while holstered.
I would think to store the mags separately, perhaps in a back pocket

@@beretnarf Plus, it looks a lot like a Mauser. Which is a consideration on itself.
Carry double the dart capacity in the same space and still be able to shoot little kids? Doesn't sound counter productive to me
It's not a low fps half dart blaster.
It's a modular fps half dart slide action prime mag/ full length single shot compact pistol. REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Looks like it could be from World War Two
Scp its a Mauser c96 ww1/2 pistol used by the Germans
Josh Jackson ww2
Ww1 as well for example c96 carbine
