I haven't seen Blonde and don't think I'd want to, but I agree with you about Michelle Williams in My Week with Marilyn. I feel like it's a better movie. The thing that I find ironic is Michelle plays an actress with personal demons while her ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger also dealt with personal demons and died three years before from said demons. The thing I find interesting is I have never seen a portrayal of Marilyn in which one of her most iconic features is done right. She has a distinct angle in the arch of her eyebrows that it seems no make up team in hollywood has noticed or bothered to recreate, which if they had, would have made these actresses look far more like her. None of them have her trademark eyebrow arch, and in each of thier looks something is missing, and IMO this is it. I don't think this would be hard for a professional makeup artist to achieve, and none of them have. Its a shame because without that arch, none of the actresses truly captures her look. As a result, each actress is left in an uncanny valley where they almost have her look, but not quite. It's unsettling, and makes it much harder for the viewer to sustain belief throughout these portrayals. Which is a shame because these actresses have done a fine job otherwise. It's a subtle thing, but very telling. The viewer keeps getting the feeling that something is not quite right about how her face looks.

None of these actresses come within a light-year of matching the real Marilyn in beauty and talent. However, the actress who did a passable job was Catherine Hicks. They all go too deeply into the darker side of her life. They always try not only to make her the worst type of drug addict when her problem was simply insomnia, but they also try and make her all kinds of crazy which she was not. She was a high strung movie star who lived and worked in fantasyland, I mean Hollywood. Few with her huge fame would ever act normally.

La mejor actriz que ha interpretado a Marilyn Monroe es ANA DE ARMAS, las demás sólo son cartón pintado.

No-one of these actresses portrayed Marilyn as she deserved...
This last movie "Blonde" is simply disgusting...It's not art ...is GARBAGE!

Ana was scary she was so much physically alike but her impression ... The over the top sad creature seen as pathetic running round naked and confused wasn't good. Poppy Montgomery was fantastic IMO. She was the first do portray Blonde the Book. The secret life was fiction. Her
Mother wasn't constantly in the picture like that. It was just weird.
    I enjoyed the Niptuck,Monroe impersonator.
There were two Kennedy's that Ms Mojo refuse to believe Who Marilyn slept with. Bobby was actually Marilyn's first love. Well the tapes and interviews would differ and it shows she was with both men and they used her. This is what led to get suicide. Feud was so good I actually forgot about the Marilyn portrayal. I loved smash and both actresses Katherine McPhee and Meagan Hilty. Meagans voice IS Marilyn. Lets be bad was so good.
Michelle Williams portrayed an interesting, seductive and also smarter than most portrayals. I liked her happier portrayal too. I don't think Michelle Williams looked a thing like Marilyn/Norma but she acted the best next to Poppy Montgomery. They showed Norma as a young woman and her first marriage before she was famous.

For some movies that portrays marilyn are probably exploitative if they show fanfic like quality.. Blonde 2022 was a work of fiction basically ran by rumors that insecure/slvt shakers do.. The two brother and her was never a poly love affair, the media at the time didn't really see a male-female to be Friends that always have to say "there having sex, they are probably dating or they fell in love" most likely those brother saw marilyn as a sister figure or a mother figure to go to vent or get advice (marilyn has shown her daddy issues by marrying or saying that older grown men are attractive to her and the two were the same age range as marilyn plus cass was 20 in 1953) the director r@pe scene never happened irl even the director admit he wasn't sexually attracted to marilyn nor was he fond of her as to force himself onto her. The John Kennedy one I'll say not true because she mostly went after his brother (in which said he was single at the time ) and I don't think the two had a poly relationship, in blonde 2022 they still portrayed marilyn as a dumb blonde in the movie, her mom Gladys being very unhinged never happened but in fact she did go in and out of the metal hospital for other issues, marilyn was raised at a orphanage near were her mom used to worked at. But the sexual assault.. She most likely while moving to different foster homes she's most likely been m0lested but never like the way they did in blonde 2022, also marilyn wasn't as sexually active like she goes to orgeys active or she can go in rounds active... Her husband expressed she was a disappointment in bed most of the time.. (ik she was pregnant before don't use that to invaild my point). If there was someone who decided to make a proper biopic of marilyn monroe/Norma Jean Baker... They should make it into a tv show just they have all her life in there.. Plus should cast a women who looks like her.. Meaning haves the same chin/jaw likness as her and play a character similar to her.. For a young version of marilyn they should cast that one women who played cat women from gothem, and maybe Michelle paiper as a 30 year old ver...

Michelle Williams' performance was great but she lacked the charisma and beauty of Marilyn and I just couldn't see her as "the most famous woman in the world"
