The best Lego Marvel character by far is Super Skrull. He has all of the abilities of the Fantastic Four and is the only character who can fly while invisible, which makes many puzzles incredibly easy.
I would say General Grievous is a better choice for the skywalker saga's best character, he's the only character I know that has a thermal detonator, a blaster, and on top of that four lightsabers. -He even has a secret move where he can spin his lightsabers similar to when he did so in ROTS, and he also has voicelines.
There needs to be a Lego game that combines all 3 lord of the rings movies and all 3 hobbit movies. The Lego hobbit game only had the first 2 movies. And I’d love to see those get the Skywalker Saga treatment

In the skywalker saga, I found myself using the droideka a lot. It has the shield, which acts as extra health regenerating health, and then it fires at such a high rate, that it melts away the health of anyone without a lightsaber.
For DC super villains I would honestly pick the anti-monitor over darkseid despite being lesser known just for the fact that he’s a big figure that turn even bigger and fly even while in giant mode

I actually quite liked Lego IJ2. If I’m not mistaken, it’s the first one that had the Build your own level mode which I quite enjoyed. Kind of sad it didn’t make a return after Lego HP 1 - 4

I never played Dimensions, but i was just starting to get into Doctor Who when they first announced the level pack for the game and I was super excited for it. The fact that Peter Capaldi did voice acting for the game and just all of the individual designs for each regeneration of the Doctor make it so compelling as a fan of the show.
Lego Lord of the Rings should've been Sauron. His design is absolutely METAL and even though it's a disappointment compared to his boss battle version it's still insanely fun to use him. Correct me if I'm wrong I haven't played it in a while but I'm pretty sure he could one-hit every basic enemy. The way he sent them flying was just the most satisfying thing. Defnitely my favorite character in lego LOTR

I'd like to make a case for Lego Dimension's best character being Sonic the Hedgehog: He's one of two characters in the game that can use Grinding Rails (the other being Legolas) His movement options alone are unlike anything ever seen in a Lego game before. This makes collecting Red Brick super easy, since you can catch the little UFO that carries one in every level extremely easily and quickly. He can move while attacking as an active hitbox with the Spindash, the Homing Attack and Airdash he has are extremely useful for platforming and makes him almost untouchable when fighting enemies. Also his base running speed is insane. He can even run across water! He can use the Wind-Up Punch from Super Smash Bros to target and hit objects or enemies in a chain, and he has the Shooting Star Kick as a ground-pound AOE attack. On top of all that, he has his a transformation Super Form being Super Sonic, which makes him move faster, jump higher, and makes him completely invincible to any damage from attacks or things like poison or lava floors. Finally we have his special Momentum Physics, which are unlike anything else in the game or in any Lego game before or after His movement speed and momentum physics can be abused extremely easily to just completely break the game. Virtually any wall is game for Sonic to run up and on, and being able to Spindash -> Jump -> Airdash makes it even better. Plus, the momentum carries over in midair, allowing you to just fly over whole parts of levels with the right angle and speed. The Knight RIder World is really fun to mess around in with this! For Example: Instead of solving the puzzle to open the door, I was able to manipulate his momentum to just run up and over the Gate at Mount Doom, and fly all the way up to the Volcano! And in the retro Midway Arcade Games level in the main story, I was able to completely skip the Combat Labyrinth portion of the level by building up momentum and then just jumping right over the whole level and over the wall to reach the exit instantly (on my first playthrough too!) TLDR: Sonic's movement totally breaks the game and makes him really totally op and fun to play. I rest my case.

My personal favorite was Fin Fang Foom from the Lego avengers game, it was just so much fun playing as him because I've never seen a character than huge, honestly it blew me away
Skywalker Saga's details with characters really surprise me. Characters in the same class have different abilities like some Sith and Episode III clones can use villain panels, there's one kyber brick on Hoth that has you go in with a droid to destroy toxic gas containers BUT Grievous doesn't suffocate in it. He can also cut lightsaber walls that feels like "Well, duh" but it's still cool.
My top 10 favorite characters from any lego game are : Kenobi, Plo Koon, each clone trooper from any lego game, Nadakhan from Ninjago movie game, Zane from Ninjago movie game, The Joker, Pythor from Ninjago movie game, Darth Vader, Jango Fett and Bossk.

Honestly, list was pretty spot-on from my perspective, only contentions I can make are Hobbit and Dimensions. My favorite for Hobbit has to be Radagast, and for Dimensions, it's the Midway Arcade boy. Having every ability on call is stupid OP, and having access to classic arcade games is really nice, and his design is pretty cool too.
Personally for Lego Indiana jones 1, My favourite was the raiders bazooka trooper. You could spam the bazooka with no drawbacks, kills almost every enemies in one shot. (and sometimes multiple with one shot) You could speed trough boss battles. The only drawback is ofcourse that you can blow yourself up. So much fun. I like the raiders version more, because of the color. Green is my favourite.

Personally I'd say that the best character in SWS is Jango, he can basically cheese most puzzles with ease, is a bounty hunter, and has some of the best guns in the game.
I agree. I spent most of my time using Jango. The Jetpack is absolutely busted and allows you to easily skip a bunch of puzzles, usually the times where you're supposed to use the force to make stairs. Additionally the feeling of gunslinging away at the enemies was amazing
In my opinion, the best character for Harry Potter 1-4 is Professor McGonagall, because she has every spell, she can turn into a cat, which allows you to move through tiny spaces, she has a time turner, and she is "smart", which means that she has the blue book that's required for opening certain closed doors. However, I think Lupin is more cool and unique, because he is the only werewolf.
Out of every Lego game, Zuckuss in the Nintendo DS version of Lego Star Wars 2 is by far one of the most powerful. His blaster shots freeze enemies in place. And in the multiplayer mode he also takes away half of another player's health. No other character in the game has abilities that are anything like this.
The fact that I’ve played almost all of these older games but don’t recognize all the characters in the list makes me really want to replay them all. I love these games so much.
When I was little, I fell in love with dinosaurs and the Jurassic world video game. The Jurassic park theme still gives me so much nostalgia for that game

For Lego Harry Potter 1-4 I would go with fang In Freeplay, he has an insane glitch where you can infinitely jump and it’s insane for freeplay speedruns. Edit: Barry Crouch JR is the easiest dark magic character to get making him also good. To get him, you need to be just after year 4 level 1 go into freeplay. Then complete the first stage where you have to rescue everyone, and on the second stage, there is a box on the south part of the map, switch to mr weasly, and break it open with reducto, if this doesn't help, search up a tutorial.

For Batman 2, I actually preferred General Zod, which was basically Superman, but without the theme playing anytime you want to fly somewhere... It's fun the first few times, but it does certainly get annoying after 30+ times hearing it
I admit that a new LEGO Indiana Jones game would be great! Nostalgia hits me whenever I see extracts of it... It really was a great game then! I wish it would come back with all the improvements that have been made since.
I love the Lizard’s kill animation in LMS1 when he picks them up with the tail and drops them into his jaws. Also liked Hulk’s kill animation that they got from the Avengers movie.

I remember playing Lego worlds I had a lot of fun doing missions and screwing around, seeing everything I could do, discovering new items and characters, it's hard to explain why it was so fun.
I didn't like LEGO Ninjago when i first played it but upon getting to it in my recompletion project; i found i quite liked the game. The story missions taking place in the hub world made collecting things faster as i didn't need to replay the story levels at all, barring a couple instances.
In lego Lord of the rings there's berserk ork with white face mask. He can use overpowered bomb as his secondary. It's range, big damage and zone, can break shines blocks on level's. So it's my favorite
I personally have some favorites to share with you. Firstly, the Droideka, it has a shield, what more could you want? Second, Mr. DNA, I mean, what the Ewok Jerky? Third, Midway Arcade’s Gamer Kid and Portal 2’s Chell, the Portal 2 Adventure World is one of my favorites, and with Gamer Kid, I mean, 23 CLASSIC 1980’s arcade games are at your disposal. Force Ghosts are always a must, as are any of the Ninjas from Ninjago, (not the movie, though, I actually didn’t really like that game because you couldn’t ride the Monorail). Any of the Lantern Characters of LB3BG, it is just so cool being able to see so many colors of lantern, and even more the fact that it lets you pick your favorite color for the lantern builds. LB2, gotta give it to Lex, I really like the Deconstructer, so much so I even made my own in real life, complete with Chrome Green Kryptnite Crystal. As for LDCSV, I gotta give it to my own custom character, I mean there literally wouldn’t be a story without him. And LMAvengers, I gotta give it to Iron Man, the number of suits is just really cool. LCU, gotta give it to both Police Chase McCain and Train Driver Bill, I love that Gresley A3. And that’s about it, oh, and mad props to Santa from Lego DS Battles, don’t want to be on the naughty list, my Lego City depends on it.
As much as I enjoy stan, korvac in lego avengers is by far the most powerful. The only thing he can't really do is mind control. You rarely have to switch to another character when usign him.

He can do the Spindash and Homing Attack, which are staples of the many games he's been in. He can also turn into Super Sonic, making him invincible and even faster, which is only possible to do once you've gathered enough studs/rings to transform (my favourite reference to the original games he's from). Most of his voicelines are references to his games and red brick that turns studs into rings is a really neat touch! Not to mention how fun his level is and the countless references in that too!
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean was my favorite Lego game, and was actually the first ever game I completed 100%. Seeing it again unlocked some deep memories

You are right about playing as Superman in Lego Batman 2, I always played as him, and I loved the musical callback when he flew. I remember playing multiplayer with my brother, he mostly played as Robin, but when we had gotten everything on the map we would play a game of chase, him as Flash and me as Superman. It was also pretty cool to fly as Wonder Woman, her theme from the 70s TV show would play as she flew.
Though all characters in LEGO Movie 2 have the same moves, I have to go with General/Sweet Mayhem because it's the only LEGO game where you can play as a mini-doll, and I do like those figure designs.
My issue with Lego Indiana Jones 2 is (the Wii version at least this may have happened with other versions) it would on a bi-weekly bases get it's files corrupted and force you to start the game all over again. This resulted in hours of story progression and level making going down the drain. We tried cleaning the console, clearing space from the device, making sure to save and quit before shutting down, ect. This was also the only Wii game we had this problem with so... that might have something to do with it's low rating.
@@davidjsaul yes and no. You could manually transfer data to and from a SD card and there might have been a cloud some where to store data but you would probably have to pay monthly fee or something to have access to it. Either way it might have been only a problem on the Wii.
As for me, the best character in Lego Harry Potter year 5-7 is Fenrir Grayback. First of all he possesses incredible strength and can interact with orange handles. Besides, he can dig and use spell Cruciatus. So, that's the really helpful character for most levels

my favourite dimensions character is sonic, he can be used for many races including some car ones, invincibility with his super form, his physics being fun to control and run up almost vertical slopes and the run off of the upside down bit of a loop to stomp into the sky

Since LEGO Battles DS isn’t listed I’ll give my take: The best character is the Ninja Master. Pretty good stats all around, heals nearby units like all heroes, and has a really useful ability in Teleport. At any time you can chose to make him teleport directly to home base, which means attacking is much lower risk. There’s an argument for Agent Chase though, given his skill that lets him take control of an enemy special unit.
My opinion on the best character for lego the skywalker saga is Boba Fett, he can go much higher than other characters because of his higher double jump and also his jetpack His gun can shoot multiple times And he has a hook, his only problem is that he cant use the hero or villain computers.
Man, back when I played lego dimensions I remember how overpowered Slimer was. He could fly, use super strength, and he was immortal. Plus he was pretty cheap.

I'm sorry, but you just can't not mention Fenrir Greyback from Harry Potter 5-7. Amazing Design and the best Character in the game, with All spells, Super Strength AND the Ability to dig without having to transform into a werewolf. Meaning, yes, He also gets Avada Kedavra and he's a Dark Mage on top of that. This guy can solo 90% of the game.
For Lego The Lord of the Rings, I have to say that Sam is the best. He is essential everywhere before you start unlocking Mithril items, as he has his cook pot, tinderbox, rope, trowel, glowing vial, and can go through small hatches.

The strongest character in Lego bionicle heroes is vezon. He has ability to activate almost every contraption in the game, plus his own exclusive Black contraption. He is basicly every starter character combined into one being. He is unlocked once you complete the game storyline, which can take about 90 hours

The best Lego Marvel character by far is Super Skrull. He has all of the abilities of the Fantastic Four and is the only character who can fly while invisible, which makes many puzzles incredibly easy.

I would say General Grievous is a better choice for the skywalker saga's best character, he's the only character I know that has a thermal detonator, a blaster, and on top of that four lightsabers.

In the skywalker saga, I found myself using the droideka a lot. It has the shield, which acts as extra health regenerating health, and then it fires at such a high rate, that it melts away the health of anyone without a lightsaber.
My main issue with The Skywalker saga has to be the lack of chacter customization. Very disappointing as a fan of lego games 😞

I never played Dimensions, but i was just starting to get into Doctor Who when they first announced the level pack for the game and I was super excited for it. The fact that Peter Capaldi did voice acting for the game and just all of the individual designs for each regeneration of the Doctor make it so compelling as a fan of the show.
Lego Lord of the Rings should've been Sauron. His design is absolutely METAL and even though it's a disappointment compared to his boss battle version it's still insanely fun to use him. Correct me if I'm wrong I haven't played it in a while but I'm pretty sure he could one-hit every basic enemy. The way he sent them flying was just the most satisfying thing. Defnitely my favorite character in lego LOTR

I'd like to make a case for Lego Dimension's best character being Sonic the Hedgehog:
He's one of two characters in the game that can use Grinding Rails (the other being Legolas)
His movement options alone are unlike anything ever seen in a Lego game before. This makes collecting Red Brick super easy, since you can catch the little UFO that carries one in every level extremely easily and quickly. He can move while attacking as an active hitbox with the Spindash, the Homing Attack and Airdash he has are extremely useful for platforming and makes him almost untouchable when fighting enemies. Also his base running speed is insane. He can even run across water! He can use the Wind-Up Punch from Super Smash Bros to target and hit objects or enemies in a chain, and he has the Shooting Star Kick as a ground-pound AOE attack.
On top of all that, he has his a transformation Super Form being Super Sonic, which makes him move faster, jump higher, and makes him completely invincible to any damage from attacks or things like poison or lava floors.
Finally we have his special Momentum Physics, which are unlike anything else in the game or in any Lego game before or after
His movement speed and momentum physics can be abused extremely easily to just completely break the game.
Virtually any wall is game for Sonic to run up and on, and being able to Spindash -> Jump -> Airdash makes it even better.
Plus, the momentum carries over in midair, allowing you to just fly over whole parts of levels with the right angle and speed. The Knight RIder World is really fun to mess around in with this!
For Example: Instead of solving the puzzle to open the door, I was able to manipulate his momentum to just run up and over the Gate at Mount Doom, and fly all the way up to the Volcano! And in the retro Midway Arcade Games level in the main story, I was able to completely skip the Combat Labyrinth portion of the level by building up momentum and then just jumping right over the whole level and over the wall to reach the exit instantly (on my first playthrough too!)
TLDR: Sonic's movement totally breaks the game and makes him really totally op and fun to play.

My personal favorite was Fin Fang Foom from the Lego avengers game, it was just so much fun playing as him because I've never seen a character than huge, honestly it blew me away

Skywalker Saga's details with characters really surprise me.
Characters in the same class have different abilities like some Sith and Episode III clones can use villain panels, there's one kyber brick on Hoth that has you go in with a droid to destroy toxic gas containers BUT Grievous doesn't suffocate in it. He can also cut lightsaber walls that feels like "Well, duh" but it's still cool.

My top 10 favorite characters from any lego game are : Kenobi, Plo Koon, each clone trooper from any lego game, Nadakhan from Ninjago movie game, Zane from Ninjago movie game, The Joker, Pythor from Ninjago movie game, Darth Vader, Jango Fett and Bossk.

Honestly, list was pretty spot-on from my perspective, only contentions I can make are Hobbit and Dimensions. My favorite for Hobbit has to be Radagast, and for Dimensions, it's the Midway Arcade boy. Having every ability on call is stupid OP, and having access to classic arcade games is really nice, and his design is pretty cool too.

Personally for Lego Indiana jones 1, My favourite was the raiders bazooka trooper. You could spam the bazooka with no drawbacks, kills almost every enemies in one shot. (and sometimes multiple with one shot) You could speed trough boss battles. The only drawback is ofcourse that you can blow yourself up. So much fun.
I like the raiders version more, because of the color. Green is my favourite.

Personally I'd say that the best character in SWS is Jango, he can basically cheese most puzzles with ease, is a bounty hunter, and has some of the best guns in the game.
I agree. I spent most of my time using Jango. The Jetpack is absolutely busted and allows you to easily skip a bunch of puzzles, usually the times where you're supposed to use the force to make stairs. Additionally the feeling of gunslinging away at the enemies was amazing

In my opinion, the best character for Harry Potter 1-4 is Professor McGonagall, because she has every spell, she can turn into a cat, which allows you to move through tiny spaces, she has a time turner, and she is "smart", which means that she has the blue book that's required for opening certain closed doors. However, I think Lupin is more cool and unique, because he is the only werewolf.
Out of every Lego game, Zuckuss in the Nintendo DS version of Lego Star Wars 2 is by far one of the most powerful. His blaster shots freeze enemies in place. And in the multiplayer mode he also takes away half of another player's health. No other character in the game has abilities that are anything like this.

Actually most characters from Lego Dimensions are now more expensive since you could be paying over $50 for some of them.

For Lego Harry Potter 1-4 I would go with fang In Freeplay, he has an insane glitch where you can infinitely jump and it’s insane for freeplay speedruns.
Edit: Barry Crouch JR is the easiest dark magic character to get making him also good.
To get him, you need to be just after year 4 level 1 go into freeplay.
Then complete the first stage where you have to rescue everyone, and on the second stage, there is a box on the south part of the map, switch to mr weasly, and break it open with reducto, if this doesn't help, search up a tutorial.

For Batman 2, I actually preferred General Zod, which was basically Superman, but without the theme playing anytime you want to fly somewhere... It's fun the first few times, but it does certainly get annoying after 30+ times hearing it
I admit that a new LEGO Indiana Jones game would be great! Nostalgia hits me whenever I see extracts of it... It really was a great game then! I wish it would come back with all the improvements that have been made since.

I love the Lizard’s kill animation in LMS1 when he picks them up with the tail and drops them into his jaws. Also liked Hulk’s kill animation that they got from the Avengers movie.

I didn't like LEGO Ninjago when i first played it but upon getting to it in my recompletion project; i found i quite liked the game. The story missions taking place in the hub world made collecting things faster as i didn't need to replay the story levels at all, barring a couple instances.
In lego Lord of the rings there's berserk ork with white face mask. He can use overpowered bomb as his secondary. It's range, big damage and zone, can break shines blocks on level's. So it's my favorite

I personally have some favorites to share with you. Firstly, the Droideka, it has a shield, what more could you want? Second, Mr. DNA, I mean, what the Ewok Jerky? Third, Midway Arcade’s Gamer Kid and Portal 2’s Chell, the Portal 2 Adventure World is one of my favorites, and with Gamer Kid, I mean, 23 CLASSIC 1980’s arcade games are at your disposal. Force Ghosts are always a must, as are any of the Ninjas from Ninjago, (not the movie, though, I actually didn’t really like that game because you couldn’t ride the Monorail). Any of the Lantern Characters of LB3BG, it is just so cool being able to see so many colors of lantern, and even more the fact that it lets you pick your favorite color for the lantern builds. LB2, gotta give it to Lex, I really like the Deconstructer, so much so I even made my own in real life, complete with Chrome Green Kryptnite Crystal. As for LDCSV, I gotta give it to my own custom character, I mean there literally wouldn’t be a story without him. And LMAvengers, I gotta give it to Iron Man, the number of suits is just really cool. LCU, gotta give it to both Police Chase McCain and Train Driver Bill, I love that Gresley A3. And that’s about it, oh, and mad props to Santa from Lego DS Battles, don’t want to be on the naughty list, my Lego City depends on it.

As much as I enjoy stan, korvac in lego avengers is by far the most powerful. The only thing he can't really do is mind control. You rarely have to switch to another character when usign him.
My favourite Dimensions character is Sonic.
Sure I'm biased because Sonic is my favourite game series but he's definitely the most fun to play because the amount of attention to detail that was put in to him is crazy. He can do the Spindash and Homing Attack, which are staples of the many games he's been in. He can also turn into Super Sonic, making him invincible and even faster, which is only possible to do once you've gathered enough studs/rings to transform (my favourite reference to the original games he's from). Most of his voicelines are references to his games and red brick that turns studs into rings is a really neat touch! Not to mention how fun his level is and the countless references in that too!
Lego Pirates of the Caribbean was my favorite Lego game, and was actually the first ever game I completed 100%. Seeing it again unlocked some deep memories
For a next video, you could rank every Lego game’s flying mechanics ( e.g. Batman 2 visor, Batman 3 fuel mechanic, jetpacks, gliding mechanics throughout games, etc…)

You are right about playing as Superman in Lego Batman 2, I always played as him, and I loved the musical callback when he flew. I remember playing multiplayer with my brother, he mostly played as Robin, but when we had gotten everything on the map we would play a game of chase, him as Flash and me as Superman. It was also pretty cool to fly as Wonder Woman, her theme from the 70s TV show would play as she flew.

Though all characters in LEGO Movie 2 have the same moves, I have to go with General/Sweet Mayhem because it's the only LEGO game where you can play as a mini-doll, and I do like those figure designs.
My issue with Lego Indiana Jones 2 is (the Wii version at least this may have happened with other versions) it would on a bi-weekly bases get it's files corrupted and force you to start the game all over again. This resulted in hours of story progression and level making going down the drain. We tried cleaning the console, clearing space from the device, making sure to save and quit before shutting down, ect. This was also the only Wii game we had this problem with so... that might have something to do with it's low rating.
Never had that problem on PlayStation personally. Sounds infuriating. Doesn't Wii have a save data upload feature like PlayStation Plus?
@@davidjsaul yes and no. You could manually transfer data to and from a SD card and there might have been a cloud some where to store data but you would probably have to pay monthly fee or something to have access to it. Either way it might have been only a problem on the Wii.
As for me, the best character in Lego Harry Potter year 5-7 is Fenrir Grayback. First of all he possesses incredible strength and can interact with orange handles. Besides, he can dig and use spell Cruciatus. So, that's the really helpful character for most levels

my favourite dimensions character is sonic, he can be used for many races including some car ones, invincibility with his super form, his physics being fun to control and run up almost vertical slopes and the run off of the upside down bit of a loop to stomp into the sky

Since LEGO Battles DS isn’t listed I’ll give my take: The best character is the Ninja Master. Pretty good stats all around, heals nearby units like all heroes, and has a really useful ability in Teleport. At any time you can chose to make him teleport directly to home base, which means attacking is much lower risk. There’s an argument for Agent Chase though, given his skill that lets him take control of an enemy special unit.
I gotta say the builder is the best. He might not have flashy abilities but good luck playing the game without using him.

My opinion on the best character for lego the skywalker saga is Boba Fett, he can go much higher than other characters because of his higher double jump and also his jetpack

I'm sorry, but you just can't not mention Fenrir Greyback from Harry Potter 5-7. Amazing Design and the best Character in the game, with All spells, Super Strength AND the Ability to dig without having to transform into a werewolf. Meaning, yes, He also gets Avada Kedavra and he's a Dark Mage on top of that. This guy can solo 90% of the game.

For Lego The Lord of the Rings, I have to say that Sam is the best. He is essential everywhere before you start unlocking Mithril items, as he has his cook pot, tinderbox, rope, trowel, glowing vial, and can go through small hatches.

The strongest character in Lego bionicle heroes is vezon. He has ability to activate almost every contraption in the game, plus his own exclusive Black contraption. He is basicly every starter character combined into one being.
He is unlocked once you complete the game storyline, which can take about 90 hours
