Still waiting for a One piece open Word game where you can create your own character and choose to be a pirate, Marone or revolutionary, as a.pirate you could choose to have your own crew or go with the strawhat, as a marine you could choose to either becomes the fleet Admiral or going into sword/Cp/G5

There is a game like this on Roblox called Blox Fruits. The game gets updated frequently and has 300-500k players playing daily.
Finished the game and, I enjoyed it a lot. I'm a huge fan of JRPG's & turn based combat so I had a blast.
Definitely room for some major improvement, but the strongest thing about this game was the story & Lim's character. I know none of this is canon, but they're on the right path of making THE best One Piece game.
Just wish the actual game could've been bigger, with more outfits, not stiff mechanics, more difficulty options, & overall a longer game.
They should make the game like DBZ kakarot, where we can fight freely n transform into gear 4th

Looking at the comments. We can’t ever be happy with one piece games regardless of the quality. You want open a world? It might have mid combat, but play world seeker. You want a character creator to do the same shit you’ve kept seeing and wanna do something within that changes NOTHING to the overall plot??? Play fucking xenoverse 2. I admit I’d like more worlds that are more current but with so many new fans coming in with so much content in the manga you gotta understand they have to cut SOME Corners. I’ll even admit I wanted a world seeker two sailing to diff islands with the crew or a character creator implemented but the care they put even for intermediate fans is undeniable. But whatever. Keep screaming at the wall, but I guess I am too. There won’t be a world seeker 2 or anything we suggested here, bc I personally believe although turn based isn’t always engaging, if you are a fan and don’t like the content this time ? Fine. Just Don’t support or show tf up to these vids and they won’t make another game like this,hell, it’ll be another drought while the other anime games take your ideas here and think op doesn’t have a market in general. Like we BARELY have any hd op games. I wanna burning blood 2 DESPERATELY but I doubt we ever will have something like that seeing how it did back then. @Ghost Of Hallownest that's different, pokemon has made a lot of turn based games so wrong know what to expect (I'm using pokemon as an example based on your statement), but why would you rather a turn based one peice game over an rpg or more frequent battle passed one piece game like pirate warriors or something similar, people think it's button mashing but it requires a lot of strategy too because of items, level systems, possible skills it's just more exited and appealing for a bigger group of people then a turned based game.

Why when attacking with Sanji and Zoro's top abilities the max damage I can do is just 500 or 700 and never over 1000. What's wrong? Even Lufy's Red Hawk only hits 2000

That'd probably be for another dev then. Bamco publishes multiple OP games from diff devs that have their own goals/intentions. ILCA's had a lotta experience in the RPG space and this game was specifically made to be a JRPG.
There could prob be another Xenoverse-esque game being developed for OP rn, or if it not, there probably just hasn't been a dev team to do it yet. Our best bet for that kinda game is to hope Dimps was ever approached or is interested in making an OP Xenoverse game. 🤔

the game explained why it hurts luffy the lighting had the attributes of ice not normal lighting so luffy was hit by ice that looks and move like lightning

I would've preferred the game to have no memories and be only about a new and original arc. But because there are unfortunately "memories " I think they should add more. However, gear 4th not being playable and snakeman having one ultimate is very disappointing.

I’ve finished the game, the combat is the best thing about it. The amount of run backs the game have you make though really pulls it down from being a great game, so I can just give it a good rating.

Also the relics equipment system bs, thank god I play RPGs/JRPGs on regular basis. Because newcomers will struggle understanding how to play the game properly.

many people may not agree but i’m a fan of turn based games so this is my favorite One Piece game by far, i just wish there was a little more memory parts
My dream is one day, one piece get a game like dragon ball z Kakaroto, telling the whole story of Luffy and be just like that game of DB was, open world, you can explore everywhere and stuff. I don't know if that will come true, but is just a dream to believe.❤
They need to quit dicking around and make that open world customizable character MMO RPG where you can level up your haki and awaken whatever fruit you find laying around. Start a bomb ass crew with your friends and decide your roles amongst the ship would be game of the year if done right no cap
How would that work? XenoVerse is super limited with maybe half the customization you'd want, a lot of recycled content, and tiny maps, and still barely runs. I get it, and I want a one piece MMO as well, but it would be extremely difficult to get right. There's a reason why JRPGs are so common, they sell really well in Japan and combat is manageable. MMOs would require constant balancing, new content, attrocious loading screens, and would have the most toxic PvP this side of heaven. Think about it, if there could only be one person using a certain devil fruit, then everyone would just fight over the best ones, and nobody would use the lower tier ones, because unlike OP, you can't come up with wild techniques by just training something like "can stretch his body like rubber" into "walking embodiment of cartoon physics."

Story seems very similar to zabuza and haku how zabuza treats haku like a pawn and then how luffy wants to beat aido into being nice seems like Naruto going after sasuke

I had expected the gameplay to be a little like World Seeker but with 5 star improvement, but it’s like the Fairy Tail Video Game on PS4… No RPG Action-Adventure Fighting like the Tales Series, Scarlet Nexus or some of the other games…

Amazing graphics and animation but the combat system is really MEH
And I like JRPGs and turn-based games. Turn-based battles could have been much more fun like the Kiseki (Trail series) but they just made it too simple imo.... at least that not what I expected considering that the game was developed for 5 years...
kiseki is the best video game saga, both in history, characters, and gameplay.
I didn't expect this game to reach that level, but unless it was something good, the game sucks, and I'm a One Piece fan.
The combat system is for smart people rather than just smashing button to win, I think most "muscle gamers" will dissapointed
@@iforst1639 That's why I said "Muscle gamers" need to be 'skilled' to smash your button to attack, and dodge, or even timming to parry, and of course, you'll always win the battle if your level is not too low from enemies level, just spam it, make the enemies unable to attack back. and done
in this "brain" type game, just like a chess games, you can easily loss to enemies if you dont play it carefully. use more brain than your thumb. that's why I like to call it "brain games" and "muscle games"
But like any others RPG type games, if you level up your character too much, you can one hit kill your enemies. that's why I never grind my character high so I can feel the enemies. lol
@@deardevildaregod6503 the good thing about this game is when u are in the memorias, the fights doesnt give u a lot of exp, so u can skipp battle and juts advance in story till the clinax where they really give u a lot of exp
@@Kovthe12 Yep thats what I did, Even before last boss, when in sky tower, I got like 1.5 hours just to defeat the first and second boss opponent because my level didn't catch up

I tired of people irrationally hating a game simply because it has turned based combat. Like we get it, you don't like that style of gameplay, nobody cares. I myself haven't played the game so the gameplay could be terrible but it's really annoying to see a sizable amount of people say "Bro why'd they make it turn based, nobody wanted this." When will people realize that there are people who like turn-based combat?
Opinions. Everyone has them. And me myself who likes turnbased games like FFX, hate to say that this game will be garbage. Just because of the lack of diversity.
Turn based games aren’t bad, it’s really not for one piece. You should be mobile and dodging enemy attacks and give them all the attacks you’ve got. Like I wanna move around the air as sanji. Or parry some attacks as zoro.
@@megaavonaco9954 Yeah that's fair, while partying and dodging could theoretically be added to this style of gameplay, It is a really a weird choice to have a turn based One Piece game. That being said I won't say it's a bad choice until I actually play it.
Maybe you see so many people hating on this, because the majority of people don't want turn based games and an IP like One Piece is so big, there is no place for this

This game needs to allow players to make their own characters. And make a original story for those characters they create. I love one piece characters but create something outside of that. So the one piece lovers can have a truly great experience. Similar to XenoVerse where they can choose what type of fighter they want. And that will decide the different forms they advance too after playing so hard. Create and edit their own ship. So much more, I know it takes time to make these games. But that would make a lot of money for em.
