His bifrost attacks are terrible, his power move can be interrupted real good, his attacks can all be blocked or dodged instead of great sweeping attacks that can't be dodged away from, and how about a closing bifrost ring so that you can't Dodge away from it, but you can't really block it from every direction. And oh that spear, throw it away, drop it, you should have read the intent that it's going to explode or had pattern recognition see the slamming and glowing of the spear and then know that the one that was thrown would then explode. Be lucky you are given so much as the very air you breathe, go get a lottery ticket considering that not only are you even allowed to wear clothes, but those clothes actually have partial armor on them. Just go and pull up to the resident of the United States of America with an M1A to Abrams Barrel in your hands if you can even lift it, you are able to consume that Apple which therefore implies you are allowed to consume it. Be thankful you're even allowed to even be aware of the very existence of the bifrost outside of it is something that gets used by individuals from the Valhalla to fight for Asgard. Too bad the explosion which cannot be any greater than squeezing a balloon so much it pops managed to blow off your arm, and do so much damage to the bone, veins, muscle, and nerves that there's nothing left but blood and or other red stuff which would suggest that it's been entirely vaporized or been blown into such small chunks that they're not even 1 pixel big. How did you not rip your skin off when you caught an arrow?Hmm? And oh boy this ego just isn't the kind of ego that would get you much of anywhere, not like striking the lightning daughter the way you did would have actually been viable compared to kicking, punching, gouging out the eyes, but dodging out the eyes would have had blowback. Good thing that she didn't get you with that lightning which follows no mind of its own, and she probably can't control it consciously. Ability useless, and it's not that your bones didn't come apart because they are like cinder blocks where they have terrible tensile strength, but have great compressional strength. There was nothing left bigger than a pixel besides the red stuff which is probably just blood. This means that when the pieces that were blown apart by tensile strength and up coming into contact with the other pieces, they slam into each other, also the tensile strength thing is applicable to like a thin ring of maybe oneself sickness, the rest of it is just him having his tissues be pushed by the force of the explosion. If you can even call something this pitiful, and cold and explosion. How did he not have his arm get torn off when he was supporting the entire weight of boy? Was it because his muscles were actually doing something? A vanilla, garden variety European could floor you. I probably could, and I haven't done my running or I am fist in pretty much the whole month besides a few stuff which is honestly a fraction of what my actual routine would be. And this is mostly because I am so unaware, I don't know how I move my arms, mouth, fingers, I don't even know what emotion I'm feeling until I am externally exhibiting this emotion. There is no intent in this brain for you to read, no intent whatsoever and if you can read my thoughts, prepare for intense mental things. I'm not even sure if you would get issues from all of it, you might have questions about you, questions about me, questions about reality itself, and discover things about the universe your feeble brain wasn't even capable of processing, and then you might get some intense mental Trauma from me because oh I know from experience ignorance is bliss. I may not be able to feel the emotion until I have a reaction from my emotion, but I understand emotions. Also apparently furry force is considered to be tame, just look at episode 1 and then see if you were brain is capable of imagining what would make that be tame in comparison. The human brain works with remixing old ideas and experiences, so just think about certain mythologies for a bit. Your brain probably doesn't have the necessary bits and pieces of information to create the adequate remix tape to make furry Force look tame. Be glad that Loki has been taught control, be glad you didn't cause any actual harm to him.

But choosing to kill in a way to look someone else in the eyes and watch as their life leaves their body is honestly probably the most brutal way to go because in that moment Kratos wanted nothing more than to end dudes life. Heimdall made 3 big mistakes.
    1) Bullying Atreus. Everyone knew Kratos was going to kill him at some point. The old Ghost of Sparta didn’t give mercy for actions against his family, after all.
    2) Refusing Kratos’s mercy. Mercy from Kratos, of all people, is something the Greek gods could’ve only dreamed of. Heimdall was extremely lucky that Kratos changed during the fight, or he probably would’ve died even more brutally.
    3) Threatening to gut Atreus. Kratos’s trauma of his past family’s death, especially Calliope, definitely reawakened old Kratos.
Overall? Heimdall’s fucking stupid. He’s glad to have died less brutally than Hermes.

My thing about Heimdall is that he suffers from the same problem as Baldur. Baldur got what he wanted. He wanted feeling back. He tells Kratos he could have just walked away, but so could have Baldur. Kratos, yet again, trying to show mercy is ultimately thrown back in his face and he does what is necessary to protect his son from Heimdall just as he had a debt to Freya and acted on it to protect her since she saved Atreus. Time and again, the Aesir are incapable of walking away except when Thor listens to reason at the end.

A man as strong as the ghost of sparta, does not just fail to grab a horn. kratos killing heimdall like this probably triggered flashbacks to greek pantheon and you know... his reaction says it all. kratos came to these lands to escape his past. killing heimdall, a god like this, again, would have really messed with his head. his hands were that limp and he was so shaken up for this very moment that it required him 2 tries to grab the light object. you'd think most game developers would never add such a subtle touch and it speaks volumes of Kratos' character development, making the ending that much better. it's so subtle, i love it.
