This is so thrilling so see loco pilots in action. The horn is giving me goosebumps remembering my childhood used to get scared by horn of a passing train.
I was working as JE in railway. My friend was working as alp . He used to say railway department don't care much about alp even though their job is one of the most challenging.
My little brother working as a guard for railways..the railways dint even gave the walkie talkie for the first three years..he used cell phone to contact the loco pilots in the front..glad he transfered to local emu in chennai.
I always respect all men in uniform. God is with all personnel of Indian Railways. Thanks to all involved in the making of this video. Very special thanks to the loco pilots seen and heard in the video.
Railways Driver's duty is very hard to run a train at the speed of 110-130 km. He has to look sternly to observe position of reception and departure signals on the way.
You should not be disturbing them. You are putting the life of all onboard that train on danger. Never disturb the loco pilot while they are performing their duties

Their is a mandatory rest period of 8hrs for a pilot after the ride. They will be given the route 2 hrs before departure. Also they have to return home after the journey where they loose their sleeping time. Over all the loco pilot job is one of the toughest.
My uncle who was a LP used to tell me that even a third person inside a LOCO other than LP & ALP can drastically disturb their attention thereby leading to a high chance of missing cautions & signals. These people are talking with a high pitch that I couldn't even listen to anything else in the video. Shame to act like an uneducated.

The best communication system ever followed by LP and ALP with so much distractions onboard specially the instructor and the. ca mera person which really irritating, which should always be carried out on a simulator but not in real situation.... hope IR stops such sort of things which is really dangerous for operations....

How should a mechanic concentrate on the route and signals in such noise in the cabin? Are these people in the cabin helpers, observers or tourists? In Poland it would be unacceptable.

There is a officers movement in loco. Bcoz the LP and ALP working with proper rules. And follow all cautious in section. I think goods trains are best in my opinion. Because job safety first. That's the reason I want to book myself in freight. Don't want to book on passenger train.

Alp as 2004 and age of 19 and in 2009 at the age of 24 asst section officer in Tamil Nadu secretariat and 2016 and so in revenue department
