No family members or close friends, just some random follower. That random follower did not take her home, 2 other people who had never met her picked her up. So for a person that has such a massive following she was lucky, but it speaks very loudly that no body guard or person in her entourage would go to jail and pick her up. It was a cold, calculated, narcissistic move to cause political outrage and possibly open up the possibility of a law suit. And the worst part is, people ATE it up and were blind with rage at the time. People were calling for the officers to lose their jobs and trying to dox them. I remember the articles “trans RUclipsr arrested for being drunk and thrown in male prison with no regard for safety”. It’s scary, and makes you wonder how many times similar things have happened and we never even realized it.
I don't care who identifies as female. If they are biologically men, they should be in prison with other men. I'm so sick and damn tired of women being put in real-life dangerous situations to protect someone's feelings. No one's feelings are more important than someone else's physical safety. We've watched men going to women's prisons and playing in women's sports leagues and women getting hurt by some of them. This is absolutely unacceptable! It's just unbelievable that this is acceptable by everyone. The entire point of segregating men's and women's spaces like we do was to protect women and to make a fair playing field. We're losing all of that bc someone wants to pretend to be a woman. It's not good enough that they can do whatever they want in their personal lives they want everyone they meet to play along. Meanwhile they go into women's prisons and rape inmates, and they play in women's sports taking women's spots and give them concussions. Then take their trophies, their brand deals, and any monetary benefits that are offered. Women of the year are men. Best women this or that are men. Miss this or that, are MEN. @@mental_case those pronouns are directly connected to biology. Over the centuries names have flip flopped from gender to gender, with many being gender neutral, but those specific pronouns are based on our most basic biological marker.
With changes on technology and societal views I think we’ve created a difference between sex and gender. Gender being an identity like pronouns and sex being your natural anatomy. Not saying I’m 100% excited that these developments are happening but it makes some people more comfortable so I don’t see why we can’t just go along.
