Got mine, so far it's great. I wanted the green ones but the new version only came in either white or black. I haven't tried gaming mode but the battery indicator is a great plus. I use it more than my Qs.
I have these and I LOVE them! Regardless of how many hours they're in, they are so comfortable that I often forget they're in my ears. I have better sounding, much more expensive buds, but if I know they'll be in my ears for extended periods, I reach for these. My biggest complaint is that the case doesn't let you know how much charge they have.

I still have TrueAir first gen, and the sound quality is good. But my right earbuds have a touch issue.. it's just won't work. And been looking for an upgrade ever since. Gets even better if you cover the head of the earbud with a foam cover. This accentuates the bass, makes for better noise isolation and tones down the highs just a little bit. This way you can listen at 90% volume and it's still gonna be a highly enjoyable experience.

Another great review Kenneth, I like your presentation style and no background music! The latest upgrade to TrueAir2+ adds wireless charging and Aptx-adaptive. Although the QCC3040 chip does not officially support Aptx-adaptive, Soundpeats have worked with Qualcomm to implement it on the TrueAir2+. Just ordered a pair because of this awesome review and made sure to use the link. I was looking at the TCL True Wireless earbuds but there was a comment with a link to this video and after watching and reading some reviews of the TrueAir2 earbuds the switch was made.
Great review! Wish you can do a long-term (maybe 2 or more years) review of these buds. My TrueAir2 (which I abused almost daily after my purchase) lasted about 1.5 years and is pretty much e-waste now because the charging case has a bloated battery and the buds themselves won't charge properly anymore. Was good until it broke though. Wish there was a way to repair these, I think Apple is the only one who repairs their own buds.
Same thing happened to mine, the inside case has cracked, maybe the battery already damage. Not sure because using charging adapter with large watts output, but usually wont be an issue since the device decides the allowed watts
Just got my soundpeats trueair 2 plus and it was really great, they just the same with the trueair 2 but the 2 plus had wireless charging and aptx adaptive instead of aptx only, thank you so much Ken, im really greatful to you, greetings from Philippines
Thank you for the review Kenneth :) i bought it 3days ago and the sounds was great the bass and the clarity was precise cause im a casual music lover :) just to add up, upon reading the manual and using it theres a battery indicator inside when you flip the lid. Green light 50%-100% Yellow light 10%-49% Red light less than 10% And for the battery i finished oceans 11,12,13 in one charge :) This was the best considering the price and the half inear design, cause inear buds hurts so bad and it feels like im inside a container and i hear my own breath hahaha...

Thanks Kenneth for the honest review. I use these earbuds and they're truly nice. They're loud, airy with a good bass. However, their mics don't work as nicely in quiet environment, they cut out my voice aggressively. They shine in noisy places though.
I have to say your review is absolutely awesome. Your review has to be the best honest review for all the earphone. I have been using Tronsmart Onyx Ace last year after watching another RUclipsr review (Seantalks tech), but its music and grip is quite bad (easily slip out from my ear). It only good in phone call. After watching your review and purchased the True air 2, it has been the best earphone that I can wear during jogging (matte finishing and design is good, will not fall out easily) and working. Only thing is it will occasionally have some lag during playing music when jogging, dunno whether it is my old phone which is using Bluetooth 4.0 problem or not. By the way, are you from Indonesia? Your review is really great and I hope you could keep it up. I've just placed order for the FIIL Lite too, awaiting for it to reach my home.

i bought it after watched your video review and indeed this is the best half in ear tws. i'm glad that i bought soundpeats trueair 2. it is hard to find good half in ear tws nowadays. i'm using the earbuds for 3 months now, and its still as good as new. the sound is good, the battery is THE BEST, you can use it for 5 hours straight! so i can watch movie comfortably. i bought the new version one, with the battery indicator and gaming mode. but the gaming mode is always have this weird sound like "tuk tuk tuk", and the seller said it bcs the gaming mode is not perfect yet bcs its a new additional to the earbuds. but its okay, still the best tws for me though.
Just gotten the Soundpeats TrueAir 2 today being a semi-in-ear type after I was forced to dump my high-priced Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro (In-Ear) due to my ears skin became allergy to silicone tips since January 2021. 🙄😣 Ya! The Soundpeats TrueAir 2 has good bass as I'm a bass person! Awesome value and quality for its price! I'm happy with its music sound quality based on my phone's EQ setting!🙂 Also, I have got the latest version with Battery Indicator and Game Mode! 😙 Losing the ANC likes with my previous Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro is not a big deal to me as I preferred to have surrounding / ambient sound for being safe especially when I'm out and about! 😙

It is mind blowing the first time I listen to it (FYI, I've tested some with three times the price tag. The sound quality of this earphone is still better). Btw, I'm getting TA2 without plus. So far it is a very satisfying experience for me. 5/5

Just bought a pair. I love it very much. The sound quality and the mic are good. The only problem is that, it hurts my ear so much. I can still feel the pain when I am touching my ears. 😅

Buy the Sabbat. Bought this for $22 and it was disappointing. Should've saved a lil bit more Sabbat or Earfuns or high quality Airpods copy. 😭 The only good thing about this is the design/color looks cute but that's about it. Plastic build is really flimsy and cheap.
Hey man, I just got these soundpeats Trueair 2 and you said they don’t have gaming mode but when I triple touch on the left they say GAME MODE and if I triple touch again they say EXIT GAME MODE. Please check and let us know. Edited: OMG I just tested the game mode and IT WORKS!!!!!

You haven't tried this one yet when I asked you about it in one of your previous videos, tho you mentioned about considering it. I actually opted for Trueair 2 since it's newer compared to Onyx Ace. It's my first wireless earbuds and I love it. I listen to metal and hiphop a lot and it's actually more enjoyable than what I expected. Seeing this video makes me appreciate it more, since I cannot compare it to other wireless earbuds. I just know that I can't stand using an in-ear. Thanks for this. :) Also touching the sensor a lot during the first couple of days is true. Lol

Well I bought these in May and I really liked them, but in September the right one stoped charging. After a week I contacted amazon and they told me that I could return it but then the right airpod started to charge again. Great... or so I thought, now both sides don't work but I got a refund at least... A shame though, don't know what to buy.
I have both. In term of sound quality, I think they are both good. Bass is a little bit stronger on TrueAir2, at least to my ears. Volume wise, TrueAir2 about 2 clicks louder. I really like both but I found myself keep on coming back to TrueAir2 though. The TrueAir2 stamp is a bit shorter too, which I like.
Scarbir says the TrueAir2 is much better. The Onyx Ace sounds exactly like Airpods, which is a bad thing. My brother has the Onyx Ace as well as airpods and they definitely sound way worse as the Haylou or Edifier devices I tried. Would definitely recommend getting the soundpeats.
I am a customer looking for a good pair of earphone, but i prefer the « AirPods style » because i am not able to tolerate the in-ear that goes in the hearing canal. Therefore, i like good sounding headphone, with a rich, warm and balanced sound. My priorities are GOOD AUDIO and COMFORT. I love the SoundPeats TrueAir 2 but i look for something with a better audio experience. ANC is not important for me. Your recommandation will help me in my decision.
Good test as always, but I think it would be time to take an Android smartphone that handles the APTX and others to really have full tests and give more concrete feedback for Android users who are I think 10 times more numerous than APPLE users . Thank you🙏🏽
Regarding the battery status!!! I just noticed once the earphones are connected on your iphone you could see the earphones’ battery level on the battery widget together with the phone’s battery level. Cool cool cool

Great review as always! Is there any budget silicone in-ear tws with better ambient mode than the semi in-ears "natural ambient mode"? I'm looking for a pair to always use with ambient mode.
I have problems with the touch arrangements. I like using my earbuds for calls the major reason I went for this. I use the left side more, the problem is each time you touch the bud it reduces the volume and the touch are very sensitive. So I ended up lowering the volume to zero and the only way to increase the volume is through the right bud! I have to bring out the second earbuds.. It's frustrating. I will suggest double touch for volume control in the event of an upgrade. The stem could shrink too. Short stems look cute. Cheers.

Unusual but want to know if we need to choose between soundpeats air2 or samsung galaxy buds live, which would be better for non samsung android user in terms of volume level and overall sound quality.
Pros: Call Quality is superb and very clear, Compact Size, Battery Life, good value for money, Design, Light & Comfortable when worn (sometimes it even feels like you are not wearing them at all). Cons: Difficult to remove from the charging case, No battery indicator on the case

Hi Kenneth - have you discovered any better earbuds for the half in-ear design? For the price, I think these are one of the best AirPods alternative. I especially like that the mic is not as muffled as most others.

Having watched some of your videos (yeah, I am rather picky 😁), I set my eyes on this one and turns out I'm really impressed. Really a good balance between price, sound, and mic quality. Only minor problem with the highly sensitive touch control for volume +/-.

i bought it after watched your video review and indeed this is the best half in ear tws. i'm glad that i bought soundpeats trueair 2. it is hard to find good half in ear tws nowadays. i'm using the earbuds for 3 months now, and its still as good as new. the sound is good, the battery is THE BEST, you can use it for 5 hours straight! so i can watch movie comfortably.
i bought the new version one, with the battery indicator and gaming mode. but the gaming mode is always have this weird sound like "tuk tuk tuk", and the seller said it bcs the gaming mode is not perfect yet bcs its a new additional to the earbuds. but its okay, still the best tws for me though.
Which one has a good bass? The trueair2 or yhe new version?

Just gotten the Soundpeats TrueAir 2 today being a semi-in-ear type after I was forced to dump my high-priced Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro (In-Ear) due to my ears skin became allergy to silicone tips since January 2021. 🙄😣 Ya! The Soundpeats TrueAir 2 has good bass as I'm a bass person! Awesome value and quality for its price! I'm happy with its music sound quality based on my phone's EQ setting!🙂 Also, I have got the latest version with Battery Indicator and Game Mode! 😙 Losing the ANC likes with my previous Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro is not a big deal to me as I preferred to have surrounding / ambient sound for being safe especially when I'm out and about! 😙

Buy the Sabbat. Bought this for $22 and it was disappointing. Should've saved a lil bit more Sabbat or Earfuns or high quality Airpods copy. 😭 The only good thing about this is the design/color looks cute but that's about it. Plastic build is really flimsy and cheap.

Hey man, I just got these soundpeats Trueair 2 and you said they don’t have gaming mode but when I triple touch on the left they say GAME MODE and if I triple touch again they say EXIT GAME MODE. Please check and let us know.

You haven't tried this one yet when I asked you about it in one of your previous videos, tho you mentioned about considering it. I actually opted for Trueair 2 since it's newer compared to Onyx Ace. It's my first wireless earbuds and I love it. I listen to metal and hiphop a lot and it's actually more enjoyable than what I expected. Seeing this video makes me appreciate it more, since I cannot compare it to other wireless earbuds. I just know that I can't stand using an in-ear. Thanks for this. :)

Well I bought these in May and I really liked them, but in September the right one stoped charging. After a week I contacted amazon and they told me that I could return it but then the right airpod started to charge again. Great... or so I thought, now both sides don't work but I got a refund at least... A shame though, don't know what to buy.

I have both. In term of sound quality, I think they are both good. Bass is a little bit stronger on TrueAir2, at least to my ears. Volume wise, TrueAir2 about 2 clicks louder. I really like both but I found myself keep on coming back to TrueAir2 though. The TrueAir2 stamp is a bit shorter too, which I like.
Scarbir says the TrueAir2 is much better. The Onyx Ace sounds exactly like Airpods, which is a bad thing.
My brother has the Onyx Ace as well as airpods and they definitely sound way worse as the Haylou or Edifier devices I tried.
Would definitely recommend getting the soundpeats.

Hey Kenneth. Great review. Very detailed and thorough. I wanted to know if these pair with any of the iwatch series?
I am a customer looking for a good pair of earphone, but i prefer the « AirPods style » because i am not able to tolerate the in-ear that goes in the hearing canal.
Therefore, i like good sounding headphone, with a rich, warm and balanced sound.
My priorities are GOOD AUDIO and COMFORT. I love the SoundPeats TrueAir 2 but i look for something with a better audio experience.
ANC is not important for me. Your recommandation will help me in my decision.

Good test as always, but I think it would be time to take an Android smartphone that handles the APTX and others to really have full tests and give more concrete feedback for Android users who are I think 10 times more numerous than APPLE users .

Is there any budget silicone in-ear tws with better ambient mode than the semi in-ears "natural ambient mode"? I'm looking for a pair to always use with ambient mode.
I have problems with the touch arrangements.
I like using my earbuds for calls the major reason I went for this. I use the left side more, the problem is each time you touch the bud it reduces the volume and the touch are very sensitive. So I ended up lowering the volume to zero and the only way to increase the volume is through the right bud! I have to bring out the second earbuds.. It's frustrating.
I will suggest double touch for volume control in the event of an upgrade.
The stem could shrink too. Short stems look cute.

Totally agree. I do also use either left or right earbud alone. So each earbud should have invidiual volume up/down control eg: slide up/down

Cons: Difficult to remove from the charging case, No battery indicator on the case

Hi Kenneth - have you discovered any better earbuds for the half in-ear design? For the price, I think these are one of the best AirPods alternative. I especially like that the mic is not as muffled as most others.
