I bid on this site auction for vacant lots in Riverside County California and won 3 lots.
All are vacant undeveloped land over 2 acres that’s my area of interest.
Riverside County is large from the coast to the east border of California/Arizona including the salton sea where one of my lots is located on the eastern shore, 2.5 acres my bid of $1500. Won.
I won a 5 acre lot in a huge wash near Aguanga for $3500. Difficult to access but promising.
Finally a lot of 3.49 acres in a private gated community with an HOA that charges $125 monthly for security per lot! This is the kind of due diligence you can only find by visiting the lot personally.
So. How did things turn out with your purchase? Are you still holding on to them?

Wry informative video thank you. If you have property occupied when you purchase that property at a tax sale and there is a redeeming period, can you evict them right away, or do you need to wait for that redemption period to end?
Is there any information on how to request occupant to evacuate? Are these property already not occupied?

If I purchase a vacant lot tax deed and the property was demolished am I responsible for the demolition costs and the nuisance fees?
If a structure was demolished by the county in response to code compliance violations the owner failed to address, then yes, demolition costs would be added to a code compliance lien. But for a tax deed buyer to be responsible, there would have to be a code compliance lien recorded against the property. A less likely scenario, a demolition company hired by the owner could file a mechanic's lien against the property, but that would also have to be recorded.

Where can I find out if the owner of the property could guarantee it for a loan?
County jail s the owner, you receive title free and clear after payment.
I know exactly which property I want. The process is daunting. Give me a clue on pitfalls of a deed that has 1 yr. paid on a coming 3 yr . Do I bid for 3 or hold on2 and hope the other certificate holder drops out?
