It was the fifth time the person who won the popular vote didn’t win enough votes in the electoral college. What was unique was the size of the gap. Last week when I realized Tim Walz was in the running 🏃♀️ and I researched his accomplishments, I knew he was going to be Kamala's pick, and started saying so all over Facebook and RUclips over the past week. And, by the way, I'll be 76 years old in October and many of my generation support Walz along with my daughter, granddaughter and grandson.
Full disclosure: I was born and raised and raised my two daughters in Richfield, MN, a suburb boarding South Minneapolis. I moved to Marquette, MI, in the UP in 2008 and have supported Governor Gretchen Whitmer but knew she would never be VP to Kamala mainly because the country wasn't ready for a first time in history female president and a female vice president. Maybe Walz can convince liberals that there's nothing wrong with owning guns - ESPECIALLY in rural areas. I'm from PA and there are many,, many, many, many gun-owning hunters in the Great Lakes regions.
