She’s a *billionaire.* Her work isn’t being diminished. She’s being *rightfully* criticized for her actions. I’m a feminist, being a feminist is one of the biggest parts of my identity. I’m the most outspoken feminist I know, *and* I hold *everyone* accountable for their actions.
You’re excusing her absolutely *viIe* behavior *because* she’s a woman and that doesn’t serve anyone and is an insuIt to the actual problems women face *because they are women.*

You seriously have your information backwards and upside-down. JKR is not a feminist. She may claim to be, but TERFS are *not* feminists in my eyes and many other’s eyes and they never will be. And she does not share your ideas about abolishing gender and never will. Her work is *not* being belittled, she’s just fine. She’s a literal billionaire and continues to make millions annually. And she is not being attacked for being a woman- she is being *held accountable for being a TERF.*

I really haven't read any of her books, and she may not have the most brilliant gender critical discourse, but she IS gender critical, and I consider her brave for it. Being gender critical means abolishing gender and gender roles, because they are essentially the same (stereotypes associated to one's sex).
So, what we, TERFS, as you would call us, just want a world in which everyone can be however, like whoever, and do whatever regardless of their sex.
I did want to be a man, but why? When I seriously asked myself this, I couldn't give an answer that wasn't based in sexist stereotypes, and I'm still to hear a reason that isn't.
I don't even know why I'm exposing myself like this but I hope you can try and understand where I come from, I've not said a single word of hate and never will.

Please can we focus on actual feminist issues and not defending a very privileged rich white woman from criticism she's earned and at least claims to be open to.
Would you be for abolishing pronouns completely, or just having a neutral one for everyone? It's an idea which many have considered, and makes sense if you want to remove gender as a whole.
Joanne also isn't for the abolition of gender, so you might have a bit of a misunderstanding of her stance there.
