But I'm now gonna get these done, even if it drives me mad.

Your channel could be huge Edd. There's very few travellers out there that tell the full story like you do. I personally have spent the last three years watching RUclipsrs on there small amounts of touring and honestly I believe people are craving to watch your type of adventures online. Bmw sold 30.000 R1200 adventure bikes in Europe alone last year which tells us there's a hunger for it. The GS 1200 is now the best selling bike of the decade but most of them because of family, children, mortgages life will not see adventure thats why people want to watch it. Your vids give the true picture of what the world is really like.. I want to ride across the world but my commitments stop me at the moment. It's a dream

To be able to log and share your experience with others is something very special I think. People do it for the love of it and if you are any good you make lots of money to cover the travel.
Only a small percentage of those 30k R1200's ever go off road, most are used for commuting or trips to the coffee house by over privileged suit wearing snobs!
William Zoom I agree. The GSA is a multi tool more suited for touring your average country and standard roads. My GSA gets me out for breakfast 😂. People dream about taking adventures so we need people like Edd. I can’t wait to hit the road this next summer 👍

You've gotta enjoy doing it / making them mate. If you're not in the mood it will show through. I'd rather watch something you made wholeheartedly in two months time rather than something you half arsed together in a week cause you just weren't feeling it. Appreciate all the time and effort you spend on providing us with free entertainment :)

Top of my list for 2020 is joining your tour (can't make the vietnam one this year). Heyyyy, it lives!! No pressure Ed, any time before Xmas is fine. If you're gonna offer the trip as a film to buy, though, you could release short teasers weekly on RUclips and save the full edit for the DVD. Like someone else said, you need short, regular output (like at McDonalds!)

My two cents. I love watching motorcycle adventure type videos, and yours are probably the most entertaining I see. You have a great personality, are kind of crazy and are just hilarious to watch. If you could push more videos out (yes, I understand you need an editor for that) I'm sure your channel could grow a lot and you could make a decent buck from it. You push out quality material that a lot of people would love to see. You just have to keep creating content a bit faster. Maybe have your big great travel videos and some kind of weekly vlog?
Also, consider creating a patreon, who knows, in time, you might live off that and youtube.
I wish you luck, because I really have fun with your videos and I'm sure there are tens of thousands that will love them too once they discover your existence (that's the tricky part)

I agree. A video like this one doesn't take too much editing (none), and I'd love to see how you muck about your caravan getting by in winter. That'll get people watching your videos, make you some revenue to spend on an editor (student? hobbyist?) so you can put out a few travel videos as well... But if you keep getting screwed over by guys who don't show up, it's not your fault really. Enjoy camping and be you. (seriously, put out a 3 minute video next week when you're sitting in the middle of your water hoses and connectors, I'd love that)

A suggestion...... Instead of trying to release long 30-60 minute long videos, you should break up each of these into shorter 10 minute long clips, and then build up a backlog of 10 minute long clips ready for release. You can then trickle these out once a week or whatever. That way you can have more regular content which generally works better for growing RUclips channels which would definitely mean more revenue in the long run. RUclips just isn't designed for long format irregular release schedules.
It's a good idea, but that would still but putting the work load pretty hard on him.

I would watch those, but i do love to sit down with some cookies and milk to watch a c90 movie!

Ed, not the first time you mention editing, it seems to me editing is not something you particularly enjoy. You say it would take you months to edit all your footage. Is editing such time consuming work or are you just really slow at it?
Time consuming? That is a major understatement. Sifting through hour upon hour of footage and turning it into concise watchable content, is mind melting stuff.
If I was living close, I'd totally edit your videos before mine. :)
Go ahead with the energy and get them done mate. We're missing the fun.

Dude dont stress it, the videos are brilliant and you get em out when you get em out. If you start forcing yourself to do them soon enough you get fed up with it and stop it all together.
