  • This video explains the points of sail, and explains which is the fastest point of sail, and why. This video also takes the opportunity to explain the difference between port and starboard tacks, and why they are important. However, the rules of the road, which are based on which tacks two approaching boats are on, will be explained in a future lesson.

I have collected at least 2 pillars of the integrated sailing mechanics
    1. Proper Sail Plan
Material-wise quality and a trimmed sail draft as yet sail draft with corresponding wind speed and a proper Sail angle technique but the number 2 pillars are the number 1 pillar were co-dependent to be harnessed
    2. Hull size geometry and a hydrodynamic related streamline close angle geometry, link from these number 2 pillars, the sail sizes to corresponded with hull geometry and hull sizes👍

Sailing downwind on broad reach or run, what are recommendations for draft.? Fuller / baggier sails or flatter.? Thanks
