Don’t worry about playing it late I would play it 10 years late if meant I got to go through it for the first time again. The only thing I would say is you don’t get to play against the original pre nerf obstacles
Best game I've played in my life. I played it to death when it first came out ; got stuck; quit for 2 years came back and smashed it. Good luck you'll love it.
Your not LATE, I am still playing it 2.5 years later. There is so much you can do, new builds, new personal challenges...etc. It will probably be the only game I never uninstall.😊
It's fun to see a new "First Time Playing Elden Ring" video. I subscribed to see how it goes. Just to reiterate/seconds some advice from others: The white mask guy you killed at the end is supposed to be a friendly NPC. He aggroed because you attacked him. I agree with others advising you to restart. The intro/tutorial doesn't take long to redo and that NPC is vital to a certain quest and can't be revived as far as I am aware. I played half the game with keyboard/mouse before switching to controller. It is much better IMO.
Do not hurt NPC's my guy, varrè is important but not the worst thing if he's hostile, but NPC's are helpful in accessing in some of the regions of the game early. With that said don't kill warrè, you can "do something" later in the game that can fix bonds with NPC's. Classic Elden Ring :) Also, I feel very engaged in watching this video :), and laughed quite a lot with you, as I've almost finished my first playthrough. Keep the videos coming please :)
playing without using the lock target mechanics is painful to watch ngl but you gave me a good smile when you hit Varre lol, goodluck on your journey to the Lands Between fellow tarnished
Nah it's best to play on the one you are comfortable with. I hate camera movement with controllers do I always use kbm in 3d games and controller in 2d or isometric games. You just need a gaming mouse with two extra buttons
As a veteran of these games my advice is to start over, go with a strength or dexterity build that are maybe more straightforward and to keep that Npc alive. Subbing just to see how this pans out
oh man I chuckled so much when I saw u hit that masked guy HAHAHAH damn broski he's an npc I will give u an advice DO NOT kill ppl who are passive to you and will talk to you bcs they have questlines that u can do, if they fight you with their own will u have to kill em but dont beat the shit out of them on the start HAHAHAHAH. BTW idk what hotkey it is but I have seen on the last like 3 parts of ur video u click the button I think accidently that will focus ur camera on 1 particular target. It's helpful when it comes to dealing with bosses u dont need to move ur camera that much. It just follows the target. Great video I had a blast
You absolutely want to be playing with a controller. Also, getting hostile to NPC's is almost always a bad thing. You could start over with a different class, go with strength or dex. I'd recommend the Samurai for a first time player. Either way, you're getting a sub! Just get a controller, tho xD
Gonna be awesome when this guy realizes that killing Vardi means you lost the ability to access the best ruin farm in the game. So dumb....dont kill passive NPCs, it always has consequences.
Don’t!! attack NPC’s bro…..LOL….Unless it’s absolutely necessary. You will find out later what I mean by “necessary.” You should just start over Homey…..LOL…Killing White Mask Varre literally eliminates a late-game NPC and will keep you from entering late game areas early, as his quest-line is no more, once you kill him. Not to mention White Mask Varre leads to the best rune farm in the game. As I said, do not attack those that are not aggressive to you, it’s like rule #1 in the Soulsborne Universe…haha
I started 3 weeks ago with a mage build.I played the original Demon souls on PS3 and Lords of the fallen on PS4.That's my only experience in souls like games.I like Elden ring because the game is very hard but always gives you options too defeat you'r oponents.I need too kill 3 more bosses too finish the game but my reflexes are rusty at the age of 52. Greets from Belgium and good luck with the game.
Omg lock on too enemies... theres is alot you need to learn about controls and how to play first. Utilizing both hands in combat etc. Block and guard counter , learn these and weapon skills

Just start over 😂😂
I just started playing it myself so youre not alone! :D
Go watch vativydia and smougtown lore vids so you can understand wtf is going on lmao.
If you can, try to switch to a controller, it's so much easier

noooo, you killed my boy varrè :(
Just a tip that you can start a new game as it's mostly cut scenes and you're gonna roll through everything until that point.

As a person who started play 2/3 months ago Eden Ring I think we started at the best possible time, so enjoy and I can't wait for more vids from you
You can lock-on in this game. Good luck!
This absolute mad lad is playing with mouse and keyboard!

Thank you so much for the advice. I just got done filming part 2 and I could have used that advice. I am glad you're enjoying it!
Good job skeleton!
My man... I also put this game off even after buying it last year.... Didn't think I'd like it. And now I'm dreaming about Limegrave at night -_-
Damn he beat soldier of godrick I can’t get passed him 😂

Me too. Hhahaha
just start a new game😂 dont Kill NPCs

Watch stamina you can't attack dodge of do anything without it
You need to start the game over, Don't attack non hostile npcs because they lead you on quests and you will lock yourself out of them
Definitely switch to controller.
Eldensoulsborne games are atrocious with keyboard and mouse.
