It was an exhausting day to endure at the rail! But I hope you enjoy the videos. I read that many of the people couldn't see Thom because of the 2 huge pillars on each side of the stage. I honestly hate this festival after last year, so I understand people's frustrations. Hopefully this will make up for what you couldn't see. It's also why Thom stood on top of the speakers up front so many times, because he knew people couldn't see the stage!
I didn't know how to join the files while maintaining original quality, so I have uploaded them separately. And I was also shooting with my film (analogue) camera so a few times this video is bumpy or off. Sorry, hard to manage 2 cameras at the same time! But it was a great setlist.
This was such an incredible experience. Thom was absolutely mesmerizing. The videos just don't do it justice. Being there in person was so unreal. One of my best musical experiences to date, if not the best.
He's going to be at ACL Fest this year...I'm not keen on the rest of the lineup, so I'm not going. Kinda crazy now that I think about it- Radiohead headlined there just a few years ago.
I went to this damn show, but just couldn't stick around until Thom went on at 1AM or whatever the hell time it was. I was so sick, I had to take off after The Jesus Lizard (which was an amazing show itself). I thought Thom was going to be doing some b.s. DJ set anyhow (like Björk did last year), but it looks like he did a legit gig. I'm disappointed I was sick and too much of a wuss to stick it out. Thanks for posting this up here so I could check out what I missed.
Thank you for this!! It was an amazing experience to see Thom live for sure... Nothing will bring back that euphoric feeling of feeling that bass thump live, but your videos will certainly help everyone relive that mesmerizing night once again.
You're welcome, it was my pleasure. It's a balance between filming and also enjoying the show, so sometimes the screen may be bumpy because I was having a good time!
DUDE, that bass thump at the beginning was EPIC. The whole floor shook. I literally said "woah" out loud. It was so visceral!

Not to endorse drugs at all but when I went my friend snuck in some cannibas oil. Now mind you I hadn’t smoked in years but smoking that made me trip the fuck out on those beats. Best show Ive been to as of yet. I also remember when he played amok my brain was having an eargasm

A funny thing happened to me on the way to Houston.
Thank you so much! I was directly in front of the right speaker but had that damn pillar partially blocking my view. I hate hate hate that stage...it was the same last year. Besides the limited visibility, the reverb off the concrete floor and ceiling just muddies everything, 20-feet back and all you can hear is bass. Probably the closest I'll ever get to Thom Yorke though! Good shit!
I was one of the few at the rails but on the far end behind the pillar. I seen tom checking the views frm the side and realized what he was doing. So glad he stood on the speakers. 4th time seeing him, 1st time experiencing a Tom York set (outside of radiohead). Knowing you camped out the front rail to help record this.. makes me Even more grateful For your post. Thank you so much!

Thank you for this, I saw nothing just heard the music to the left of the stage because the sound was better there.. but it allowed me to see NOTHING!! I never thought I would get to see (or in this case hear) just Thom by himself, this was a dream within a dream.. the experience changed me. Beautiful.

We were in the center squished in like sardines but slowly made our way up! Thank you so much for posting this! The set was incredible! Did you notice how pissed he was about the stage?! I couldn't hear everything be said.
Yes sure! He was also pissed about some tambourines. I read that was something the festival gave out, but I never saw any.
Yeah! At the Toyota tent, they were giving out free light up tambourines and scarves.. (i took one home lol)
I also say thank you for recording this. So glad I can relive this moment in the future.

So annoying. One guy came right up close to me between songs and started with the tambourine. Everyone gave a side eye. Sounds could have been better for this performance.
