That's how much Oborne knows. He thought Alan Black, sole survivor of the Kingsmill Massacre was a British Soldier. 12 working class men, one catholic, 11 Protestants. The IRA stopped the van they were in returning from work. Asked who the Catholic was. The Protestants thought the gunmen who stopped them were the UVF, who had just murdered the 3 Reaey brothers, all innocent working class themselves. The tried to stop the Catholic identifying himself. But one of the gunman recognized him and told him to get down the road and not to look back. Then they opened up on the remaining 11 men. Black was shot about 10 times but somehow survived. He states that one of his friends was badly wounded and crying for his mother and one of the gunmen shot him in the head. Raymond McCreesh the hunger striker and now part of republican folk lore was one of the killers. He was captured not long afterwards in a contact with the Security Forces, the weapon he was carrying was used in the Massacre

@@tjclarke1892funny how you planters never talk about the crimes committed by your beloved UDR /UVF , kingsmill was done in retaliation for the murders of the reaveys and o'dowds a day earlier in whitecross by members of the Glenanne gang, but never their murders being mentioned around this time of the year, if it reaveys and o'dowds hadnt of been murdered then kingsmill probably wouldn't have happened, of course it doesn't make it really but neither was the murders of the reaveys and o'dowds.

When this fellow said at the start of the video that he'd visited Ireland a number of times and has close Irish friends and then said he voted for Brexit my immediate response was. Ya flecking eejit you should have known different! I can understand someone in England voting for Brexit and not knowing or understanding Northern Ireland which is fair enough. But I respect this man's honesty to hold his hands up and admit that he made a terrible mistake.

Great video but the interviewer clearly didn’t know what Mr Black was on about which is a shame I think - Kingsmill was a black mark on republicanism and I’m sorry the man had to go through that… awful business

@@asanulsterman1025 it doesn't matter they are clearly ignoring what people voted for they are making loopholes for the likes of emigration among other issues so nothing will change to line their own pockets by the time it's realized it will be to late only way I see out of it is for everyone to pump out as many kids as possible so when it comes to the crunch we have numbers makes me sound mad I know this but having just the vote isn't enough they will just make loopholes to suit their agenda just look at what they are focusing on borris is just pretending to further his own cause I hoped he would do what was needed but he is bought just like everyone else that's in a place to do anything that really matters
