This looks so good! I have a tip for the cakes: make a strip of damp paper towel wrapped inside of tin foil to wrap around the cake pans while they bake. Your cakes won't have the dark edges and will come out perfectly! This tip has helped me so much!!
Girl I recently moved to an apartment so I’m slowly buying my own baking supplies (still need a mixer or a hand-mixer at least, pans, mixing bowls, etc) but I’m so excited to make this! You give me so much inspiration!!! Also, just FYI, things bake at different rates depending on the type of container so that’s probably why the cake in the ceramic pan came out lighter.

Hey Kristin! Here’s a baking tip that I learned from my grandma! When taking the cakes out of the pan and placing them on the cooling rack, place the top part of the cooling rack on top of the cake pan and then flip it over! That way it comes out easier and you don’t have to worry about it coming apart or you dropping it because you’re using your hand to hold it in place. ♥️♥️♥️
