I didn’t seek out any of his additional performances, however, and now see that was an oversight on my part. What a beautiful tone. It just grabs the listener and won’t let go. I could listen to him all day long.
Sometimes judges are so technical or forget the contestants are amateurs not professional singers. They forget that they are to coach them, train them, coax them to be better.

There's an innocent frailty to his voice. It's definitely NOT polished... but that's part of the charm, just as his simple demeanor an style. A truly unique vocalist. It was good to see him depart from the melancholy in ELENORE. That smile needs a little more exposure
