Cabinetmaking, dressmaking, filming whilst riding a bike! You are a woman of many talents Rosie !!.. and it all looks amazing! Good on you.. :)
And then WAFFLES!
@@amywert8088 🤣🥰
I wonder if you know just how loved you are here? I have been with you since the beginning. I wake up feeling grey and low, I see you have posted, I watch and suddenly my life is in technicolor because you are an inspiration of hope, creations and storage. Thank you so very much Rose🌸
I love how many women come here and share the love. it's just a bit magic. thanks to all the people who comment and to of course, Rosie. top job!
lol what a wonderful comment! 💕 And I totally agree 👍🏻✨
Yes, she makes us feel like we can do anything.
Well said and so very true.
Cheers to that! ❤
I think the dress hits the mark on all the levels of comfort, elegance and beauty. Looks very nice on you.
I’ll reiterate the common sentiment among most of us. I look so forward to seeing you every Sunday. You are a clear favorite here as well. ❤😊❤😊
The dress is soo beautiful; it is not orange, it is terracota. The color and shape looks so good in nature.
It looked so beautiful on her and the color goes so well with her complexion.
One "like" is not enough! Can I please give at least five? One for your planning & skills, one for the focus & diligent work, one for the dressmaking, one for waffles and one for your personality.
Btw. I love that you transport so many things eco-friendly and slowly.
And I think that the more expensive shelving option is really great and beautiful.
Looking forward to your next upload 🙏
And for her music choices and sound overlays - she gets the balance right there, too, imo. :) Her gentle sarcasm, sardonic replies to her agelessness get points, as well. Are we up to at least 7 by now? ;)
As a Belgian, I must say a waffle maker is ESSENTIAL to living! Congratulation on your new acquisition!
It gets very hot in the summer where I live and besides waffles I make cornbread, bread, cookies or anything that would normally go in the oven on my waffle maker.
I've never tasted a waffle.....I'm 67 yrs old 😢
As a Swede, I am surprised Rosie did not buy a waffle iron for Swedish waffles - they are apparently quite different from the one she tried to make. Thinner and traditionally served with jam and whipped cream.
@@VinterfridClodberry jam is the best jam. Or why not sour cream and caviar!
Honestly, you are beyond handy. You are like the men in the woods but waaaay more interesting and so gentle. ❤❤❤❤❤
И все намного аккуратнее и изящнее чем у мужчин😊
"like the men...buy way more interesting...!" 🤣 HA!
I just had a vision of Rosie, 98 years old, sitting in the home, staring out the window. The nurse comes in and looks at her, thinking she had some run-of-the-mill life, when in fact, Rosie is daydreaming about all therse wonderful adventures she experienced.
Rosie would definitely “Run the Mill”, then take the wood home and build a masterpiece 😅🤗👏🏻
Hi Rosie, I'm a 58 year old from South Africa. You are such an inspiration. Keep it up!
It's not about the stuff you make Rosie, it's about you, defying your own perfectionism every single day. I admire the way you keep on challenging yourself, and growing from it. Not by making better stuff, but by learning to accept, and sometimes even embrace your own 'flaws'. You inspire a lot of people just by being you. Thank you for that!
Rosie, you are an inspiration to a lot people 😊. You don't let anything stop you 😊. You aren't the only one who has overfilled a waffle iron 😅.
Rosie I love the hippie dress. I am 77 so hippie is a happy memory for me. I love your videos, artistic and creative, thank you for letting us into your quiet country life.
Right on!
🧝♀️
I was going to say right on too. Lol. I would have loved that dress.
Nothing wrong with hippies. Not many of us left😮😮
I was just thinking the same thing & that fabric reminded me of the one dress I sewed completely by hand in 1972!
Rosie I love your dress. I’m a sewist too and I admire your bravery. By the way the fabric is a cinnamon colour not orange and I think it really suits your colouring. Keep going. I hope you finish it.
Yeah, cinnamon or a burnt orange.... it only looks too orange when the light is too bright! :)
Cinnamon is a good description, I was thinking copper, but a rose by any other name... 😊 It looks really attractive Rosie, it suits you! 🤗
But it suits you beautifully. Lovely colour, but it would make me look yellow. So, I keep having "👁️-candy" by seeing it on others. You look like a bright berry on woods...it is called "tyrni" in Finnish.

@@wildrosie 👍💕🤗
here's an idea for your shelf doors to be able to block the window if you wanted. on one of the doors inside, you could add a thin piece of board to the back with hinges so when you open both up you have a third door that opens up and crosses the gap to the other door. And so that smaller "door" isnt flapping around you could recess magnets into both sides top and bottom and then on the other door. so you would need 6 magnets 2 you cut the thin door and recess into that then see where it closes, mark that position and recess into first door then open them all and close the gap and mark on the other side where the magnets sit and repeat the process
That's a clever idea!
@@wildrosiei was thinking of something similar, only I didn’t know how to describe it, lol. Something like the folding indoor shutters on French farmhouse/chateau windows. I guess they’re a kind of a bi-fold shutter & I love them!
@@wildrosie naw shucks thanks mate hahaha
Have a look at the round magnets we use for 40k models haha theyre actually really strong "neodymium"
theyre usually 2mm x1mm
I had the exact same idea! Seems Rosie likes it too ❤
Exactly what I was going to suggest but somehow thought someone would’ve beaten me to it!
"Fixing all my problems by building storage"....that's deep. I will take that with me for when life gets too much. Woodworking relaxes me, so: have a bad day, build storage.
Thank you Rosie.
I wonder if she was thinking that deeply?
@@cerwelt😂😂😂 Hahahahaha!
Rosie the image of you in your new dress, contrasting with the gorgeous deep green of the forest, highlighted by the yellow rays of the sun, is visually stunning. Thanks for another wonderful video 💕✨
I’m wondering how many people have just the smallest internet crush on our dear Rosie. 😊
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GIVE THIS GIRL A FULL FESTOOL SET!❤
Rosie I have so much admiration for you!my husband a joiner and I work with him beautiful work live watching your projects X
Definitely needs Festool
It would be the best gift ever!!!
Girl= female child
Woman= Female adult
Please don’t call adult women for girls! You don’t walk around calling your husband a boy do you? Or men in general aren’t called boys!
She would definitly deserve it. BUT ...
There are far to many RUclipsrs with expensive tools and fancy workshops. Rosie shows us, that imagination, talent and the courage to just try things are what really matters. I find that much more relatable and inspiring for an average DIYer like myself.
I just left Festool a comment on their website.
This old lady loves watching you, young lady, for many reasons, but some is being able to identify with you through some of my own young memories. You do it with much more poise and charm than I, being from a different culture. I did, and still do both sewing and woodworking, and riding a bike with the same trailer. I just do it all slower at 68. Thanks for sharing your life with the world.
Hi Rosie, you were looking gorgeous in the rust colour dress. (Especially against the greens of the forest) it’s so mesmerising to watch your fingers while you are doing any work with precise measurements 🙂
I am a fan of your wood working skills , sewing, basically managing everything with what you have. Congratulations on getting waffle maker and happy days to you enjoying waffles.thank you for the beautiful video and best wishes all the way from India.
Magnets were the first thing to came to my mind to keep the flap doors up! Seconds later you installed them 😂. Have a great day, Rosie, thanks for sharing
Thank you 🙏Rosie for NOT painting all the shelves white 🤢 !!!!!Love the natural wood with nice stain❤ Love your videos ❤😊
I could feel your frustration trying to place the shelves in place. Life is so full of small adjustments. You handle them with a quiet calm that I envy. Keep up the amazing work.😊
Young lady, I just came across your channel. I watched your 2-year update and both Q&A videos. You are an inspiration and a breath of fresh air. So many people talk about doing something different with their lives or say they wish they could. You have taken that leap and are flourishing in it. Well done and I wish you much success. I will be watching your video vlogs for my daily dose of inspiration and a kick in the pants when I start doubting if I should do something or not. All the best!
I love the dress! I, too, am a seamstress and while at times things do not turn out quite as imagined, sometimes they turn out much more fabulous! I appreciate you, my friend, for all the things you do, all the "mistakes" you make - as we all do - and for sharing it all with us ❤
Rosie, your dress reminds me of the 1940's style dresses with the shoulder pads. I could imagine that dress would look great on you also in green. My mother was taught to sew by her aunt, who was a couture dress maker, and fabric choice is a huge part of what makes a particular style work.
Her editing skills and camera work are really something! Running out to fetch some wood and the camera looking out of the woodshed, all the close ups and then the drone bits that are just stunning ... this is not only pretty smart, it's a pleasure to look at. I love this channel.
😄Don't worry, absolutely everyone puts in too much batter their first time.
You'll get the hang of it.
Exactly! 😆
Thank you for all your hard work and sharing with us. You inspire me
This!
Oh yeah!!! What a lovely start in a sunday ❤🎉
You should check out Simone giertz’s foldable hangers she invented! That might make your heart feel better than the children’s hangers.
Wow! I didn't think your production value could get any better! You should be on telly its so good. Also love your overalls. Love seeing your corner of the world, very different from Australia.
YOU ARE SO TALENTED, LOVE THE DRESS AND THAT JUMPSUIT
Good morning, have a wonderful sunday!☀️
Funny coincidence. My father recently moved to a retirement home and I’m responsible for clearing out his house. One thing that I brought home for myself was his waffle maker. Then I looked up on RUclips how to use it. Just put enough batter to make the maker 3/4 full. It worked. I was surprised at how easy the recipe is & how easy the maker is to use. Enjoy, Rosie👍🏻🇨🇦
One. Flip the center shelves door hinges to the top underside so you now have a desk... if a support stick is added.
Two. Add an extra hinged piece of wood to one of the center shelves doors so one can "shutter" them shut when folded out.
Three. Your waffles look amazing.
Hi Rosie, I hope that by the time you read this you haven't made a permanent decision for the dress closet. In order for you to use regular hangers, you might want to consider having very long pegs. Instead of a long rod. The pegs would be kind of sticking out instead of the normal way. I've seen old fashion closets where clothes are hanged against the wall. You can hang on one peg approximately 10 dresses. You can put as many as 3 pegs totaling 30 dresses altogether. Or 2 and leave a space to hang out of season coats and jackets. You can cover the closet with regular doors you will create. It's an option that you might live with and won't bother you.
Unless I'm misunderstanding you she was going to have two rods that came straight out from the walls, side by side so that the clothes would be facing you when you opened the closet, but she couldn't fit 2 hangers side by side. She will still have 2 rods that attach to the wall and come out side by side but use children's hangers (which made me cringe lol) the clothes will probably fall off
My unsolicited idea would be to not have the two pegs at the same height, but at different heights. So the hangers won't interfere with each other.
Your quiet confidence is showing…and I love it! Plus, the music choice this week was so fitting. Loved the dress, the custom builds, the drone footage, the tribal music , and of course the freaking waffle maker!!🎉
The colour and style suits you❤ and YES eat the waffles or anything else your soul craves. You work so hard to bring joy to us, your subscribers. Viva la choice😊🇦🇺😘
Not sure if you heard about Simone Giertz. But she is also a youtuber and due to kickstarter she succesfully managed to start manufacturing of her design of foldable clothing hangers, so they would take half as much width as normal ones. Seems like that could be some solution instead of children hangers, if that bothers you? I know they will be available to purchase in autumn on Yetch Store
Thank you for showing the sky view. Lovely clouds.
I love it when you hold the wooden doors in place with your foot while you're attaching the hinges. I do the same - sometimes you need and extra 'hand' to stabilise something but it's difficult when you live alone... Your dress is lovely, the structure of the top section and sleeves have a bit of a 1950's vibe 👌🏻
Is it just me or is the production quality just top notch these days. Like these nature shots with the background noises is giving me serious ASMR vibes. So relaxing
That dress looks gorgeous! I really love the way it looks like you're wearing a little jacket over it thanks to the layers. It's a great look and I'm always so impressed when people have the skills to make their own clothes. The fabric looks super comfy as well and I really like the colour, though I do think it's hilarious that you bought it despite not liking orange.
Congratulations that you got the waffle iron, though I'm not quite sure why it is so big (and why it rotates). I do love your realisation that you shouldn't deprive yourself of good things in your life just because you're "not supposed to" do XYZ. The great thing about being an adult is that you absolutely can have waffles any time you like. Enjoy the simple things in life and don't deliberately deprive yourself of joy. Life is hard enough without us making it even more so just to satisfy some imaginary judgmental audience.
Hear! HEAR!😂
such an amazing feeling to wear clothes you made yourself. No high priced clothing item can top that.
Oh no it's a shame you don't like your dress, I love it!❤
I like it now it's finished! But it was very touch and go at first :D
@@wildrosie😂...I know how that feels!
Rosie! Hi ! I am 82 yr old Sally.
I also love your dress on you! You are an amazing seamstress, designer and creator of wooden structures! Bravo!
You are so brave and as I watched you grow braver in these past three years, I applaud you!
You struggle but you achieve!👏🥰💃✅❤️
God bless you Rosie! You own your wbeatiful world!
Summer will come!🌷🌸🥰
Oh and do eat blueberry waffles! The very best!👏
About the hangers, I don't know if they will suit your needs but if you search Simone Giertz foldable hangers, hope this helps.
When I try something that doesn’t quite work out, I always remind myself that it’s the difference between theory and reality.❤
My beloved grandmother lived to a ripe old age. All my life she said that a person of character was compassionate with out being a push over. Was honest, especially to oneself without having to voice that to others. Obeyed the basics of society, don't steal, don't knowingly hurt others, etc. But never let society decide who you are at your core. Because then the world loses all the beauty and creativity of your unique being. She said that the most important thing she had built within was resilience Because that meant that you could change to fit the challenge so you would never be defeated by life's vagaries. As I have watched your videos I have admired your resilience.
Best part of my Sunday morning! Such an inspiration and easily one of my favourite people to watch ☺️
You look very elegant in your new dress! Like a character out of a 1930's movie..
And the waffles looks delicious!
Would you consider sharing the recipie??😊
Oh gosh, the waffles were terribly bland! I just searched for 'heathy waffles recipe' but it's no use sharing this one as it really didn't taste very good at all! Got to find myself a better one :)
@@wildrosie ok.😊 We'll both have to get creative with the recipies than...
I don’t care what could have been done better, you are still an inspiration! Taking on the daunting task of a renovation all by yourself, in a foreign country to boot, says something about resilience and character. Your dress looks great and the colour suits you very well! 😊 As for the waffles… use a bit of butter on both sides of the iron. Despite being non stick , it does help with doughy foods . Once you figure out the waffle maker, you will be the local waffle queen of your region 😂. Life is too short not to enjoy things that make you happy!.
What a wonderful dress! It is simply a joy to spend my time "with" you and all your projects! Looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing!
Flowers are blooming in Poland and you still have snow in your area. Such a different spring ;)
I live quite close to Rosie and sometimes we have snow on the flowers.
It was 27 degrees here in Portugal last week!!!
@@mickymack1230 its april. It can be any weather in sweden between -20 and +25 . But well.. not seen 28 in april.
We had 19 a 3 weeks back. And now its snow... well two days ago. Today its 10... so.. its typical april.
@@matsv201 In the Netherlands we have a saying regarding April weather: 'April doet wat hij wil', or 'April does whatever it wants'

Love your videos I so look forward to them. As a soon to be 84 year old I so admire your talent and what you have accomplished in your charming home. You are a very beautiful youthful looking woman don’t forget that. Love from 🇨🇦
We love to watch you every Sunday, Rosie. Such a lovely way to start a day! We especially admire your creativity and your tenacity. You are truly an inspiration!
Your new dress really suits you. Good job!
🧡 the dress Rosie!!! It looks like something from my favorite style decade of all time, the 1940’s! You are such a talented seamstress and look stunning in it 👏🏼 ~ YAY for waffles!!!! 🎉
Honestly Rosie you are such an inspiring woman. I love the cosy window nook and the dress is gorgeous. The colour suits you and the style too. Watching you grow is... yes, really inspiring x
Not only is your dress amazing but the continuing wall of beautiful wood is an engineering marvel.
I love the colour and design of your dress, stay true to you xx
I fully understand the Waffle Theory. Smiling is under rated. You, your sewing and building are amazing. You are a woman with fortitude. When trying on a sewing project mid ugly stage, ironing the garment can be helpful. I'm going to go find my waffle maker and dust it off then eat on my balcony over my garden, just for the smiles.
Thanks for that 😊❤

BRAVO! ❤️
You looked so beautiful in your rusty orange dress in that green forrest. Like a forrest nymp who belongs there ☺️
I have a similar orange dress and I love it! It makes me feel like a goddess.
Watching these episodes is always like watching an artistic, high quality documentary. I appreciate all your esthetic gifts you use in making every episode.
In this video I got unreasonably excited about your door magnets working. I was thrilled. 😀
Look at Simone Gertz folding hanger, that´s what you need!
Je edits en sound design worden steeds geavanceerder. Gaaf! ❤
True. I rarely get impressed with editing but in this case it's just stunning.
Rosie, I sincerely look so forward to your video's. I usually watch them last. Saving the BEST for last! You are such a talented individual with a great sense of dry humor, which I love. You're beautiful, kind and intelligent. Just so well rounded. Thank you for taking the time to put these video's out here and sharing your life with us. You are such an inspiration. You've brought inspiration, awe, knowledge peace and laughter into my world and even a little envy. You're just wonderful. Keep being you. 💚
It's such a treat starting out my Sunday with coffee and a video from Rosie! I love your dress and it looks beautiful on you! You know, hippie dress is quite appropriate, I mean, you are living a "real" hippie lifestyle. Not the fake Instagram druggie-esque/Grateful Dead following/ hippie, but a real hippie who lives off the land, makes their own everything, is very conscious of the environment and their own footprint within the world. I am a child of the 60's and 70's, and I also try to live the same kind of life on my 3 acres in the country. You do it much better than I, but I'm sure your youthfulness (compared to my elderliness, LOL!) has much to do with it! This hippie admires all you are able to do and accomplish!
Rosie, your dress looks amazing in the forest! So fitting with texture of the fabric and vibrant colour.
Love, love, love ALL the things.....storage, sewing, waffle machine and especially how EASY you make it look to do. Thanks Rosie! Love your videos.
love my morning coffee with rosie, the perfect mellow sunday
I've been watching your vids for a while, but this is my first time posting. I find your journey so satisfying!
Thank you for sharing. :)
Rosie, I never actually realized how much creating clothing is like carpentry and building. Just different materials on a much smaller scale. It makes sense that you would excel at sewing and designing clothing after watching you fabricate everything in your home. You are so talented! ❤️🇨🇦
I look forward to your videos whenever you post them. I grew up in Smoland as a young girl and miss your forests.
I’m always impressed with your accomplishments and self reliance.
I just wanted to let you know how pleasant and calming your videos are. Super nice way to start a Sunday!
You have also inspired me to build more storage in my kitchen, watching your videos makes me think how hard can it be? :)
You know you are unique ? A genius ? To every problem a solution ! And I love your humour, happy waffles, enjoy !!! 💖
It looks great!!! I learn so much from watching your videos. Hello from Australia!
Autumn / Fall here in Australia its Sunday night relaxing for a bit and your video pops up . Really enjoying your channel , thanks for sharing . i'm blown away watching all you create , so clever
I love how humble you are rosie, I’ve watched your channel from the very beginning and you inspire me to do things out of my comfort zone. I built a patio yesterday because watching you has made me realise you just have to give things a go and eventually you grow and become really good. Not sure il ever be able to make things look as lovely as you do but Thankyou for the inspiration.
Love the justification for the waffle maker. I was told years ago that given enough time, you can justify anything. Cheers from Eastern Canada! 🇨🇦
Rosie ,I absolutely love your dress. The color is beautiful. I have to admit I have watched your videos over and over. I love the sound of your voice and admire your work. God bless you and continue watching over you.
You are such a clever young lady 👏. Last week we were working about outside, my husband gave me a piece of wood and asked me to saw a bit off for him, he was making a cover for an outside pipe, he was impressed that I cut it straight, and this was with a hand saw, I thought of you Rosie and thought you would be proud of me 🤣🤣. PS the burnt orange suits your colouring so well, from one redhead to another 👍
Your craftsmanship is superior and done so delicately. The interest in your your age is comedic and you're beautiful and grateful and awesome 👌🏽 Ms Rosie I enjoy your work and encourage you to trust the process.
Waffles are one of my favorite foods, hot or cold. But non stick spray is a must. Make clean up easy with a cloth wrapped around a chopstick.
I love all your videos. I think yours is one of the best content on RUclips. The images of you walking through the forest with that gorgeous dress are visual poetry.
Yeah, a new Video. Love it.👍🏽
Oh my gosh Rosie I am in absolute awe of your abilities in so many things. I mean the storage around the window is totally amazing. That lovely dress--goodness. I am just amazed.
Rosie, I love your videos so much. You are a woman of substance and that is what all women no matter their age love to be. Plus your dress is really classy and the colour really suits you. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤
Your skin is gorgeous, Rosie! Don't let anyone tell you any different. Jealousy is rampant nowadays. I love how you are unique. The world wants conformity. Let's prove them all wrong. The dress is wonderful. Doing button holes by hand! You are brave!😊 Thanks for sharing.
Your dress is beautiful. You look so nice in it. ❤
Hi Rosie well I had breakfast with you this morning it was fun. I love your dress, I would call the color rust and it goes so nice with your coloring and very flattering, keep up the good work. Your house is coming along wonderfully. I love your sense of humor. I just wish you were on more often, take care, be happy bye
The brilliance of those shelving....and then the waffle story at the end (life IS too short), must be one of my favourite videos! You will have to do waffle check-ins now, because we want to see how you master that too ;) ;)
I just find it so cute and relatable when you are holding stuff in their place with your feets while screwing and tinkering. Nice job!
Beautiful Sunday Rosie and all in this amazing community! ❤❤
Once again I am in awe of what you are doing. I simply would not begin to attempt what you are doing, and what you are doing always turns out soooo well.
I absolutely love your hidden doors. You did them on the other shelf too. I really like it
You could wear this dress into any office or workplace - dressed up with a little jewelry and heels! A classic look and rich fabric. And your window with storage is so clever and modern.
Love the dress and the wardrobe. Your editing skills are excellent.
Your dress is beautiful. It fits you perfectly. Waffles, as you already know, are food of the gods. Enjoy!
Your cabinetry is turning out so beautiful! The window construction is amazing! Just a pro tip for waffle making…as someone who has made lots of waffles, i have found overfilling the machine will make a mess and if you let the surface of the batter start to develop bubbles before closing the lid, it is less likely to stick to the grill. PS .. love the dress and the “paprika” color on you!
