Awesom bro. I met Kruba Sith in Bangkok fifteen years ago. He's the guy who I think played the song "ตะวัน" on the album released with Grammy. I practiced a lot of his songs at the time, along with many of the songs on that album. And practice playing the song "ยอมจำนน" in ai Sharky guitar line. They are my inspiration for music. ❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Thanks, dude! They're a band that's been under the radar since the 90s and it was just circumstance when the music climate was changing too fast for them. As far as I know, they're the first metal band that introduced the khène (lao flute or mouth organ) in metal. Kinda like how The Hu from Mongolia added their traditional instruments to their songs only this was done really early. I met the singer of the band a long time ago during band practice and we shared the musical influences we had. As soon as I said, Iron Maiden, he continued "Scorpions", "Ozzy Osbourne" "Bark At The Moon"?. You can hear a big 80s influence in their music. This track sounds so inspired by "The Trooper" and it's still awesome. I'm glad you liked the video and I hope that it serves as a bridge to reach out to other people than just the Lao community.
As much as I’d like to i’m part Filipino and Lao and have been living in Canada my whole life I’ll see if I can get youtube to add Lao subtitles for this vid.
