    I didn't move the oring from the pistol barrel to the rifle barrel. That's the reason it leaked.

    You really can't go wrong with these SPA built guns. I have 7 of them and they all shoot great.

    I have the pistol version of the Chaser. Not a bad little pistol for a C02 powered air gun

    Veery Nice air gunz. I have these and they shoot very well. They have a ton of aftermarket parts online to add on . I put a barrel stabilizer on a suppressor and magnum springs on mine. There's one big flaw with these, you have to buy pellets for them and CO2 cartridges which is more expensive to shoot than a cheap breaker barrel or a PCP powered air rifle, such as the beeman underlever series or the Umarex Notos! Hey, have fun...we only live once right?

      U obviously don't know what you're talking about, since when has co2 been more expensive than a.PCP??!?? They're cheaper and more accurate I'll say!!!!

    How did you manage to get the moderator off the rifle barrel? I understand that it’s permanently mounted. Stupid as it sounds, that’s what they do for the US market.

    • @sixshootertexan
      @sixshootertexan  Год назад +1

      It only comes with one moderator. It has threads to change it between the two barrels.

    • @kelalamusic9258
      @kelalamusic9258 Год назад

      Yes, but was it fastened to the rifle barrel?

    • @sixshootertexan
      @sixshootertexan  Год назад +1

      @kelalamusic9258 Correct but you unscrew it from the rifle barrel and screw it onto the pistol barrel.

      @kelalamusic9258 Год назад

      I’m sorry, I meant was it glued (Loctite) to the rifle barrel? That’s what was mentioned by some.

    • @sixshootertexan
      @sixshootertexan  Год назад +1

      @kelalamusic9258 No Sir, it was not. It would be hard to change over if it was.

    How did you get the suppressor off of the rifle barrel onto the pistol barrel? Does it just screw off easily?

    • @sixshootertexan
      @sixshootertexan  6 месяцев назад

      @@Neo_Sauron My friend had loaned me the set with it like it was in the video. I believe it has loctite on the threads. If yours is threaded.

    • @sanantoniorose9832

      you need to heat the area where the suppressor screws on to the rifle barrel as hot as you can get it with a hair dryer or, better yet, with a shop heat gun. The red locktite will break down with the heat. Then use a large pliers on the suppressor to gently work it loose from the barrel. You will ding up the suppressor cone some. It can be sanded smooth and repainted later. The suppressor is loctited because in some countries where the Chaser is sold they require by law that the suppressor cannot be used on a pistol barrel.

    What do we do if it leaks? Mine does the paper trick too.

      I pinned a comment that I forgot to move the oring from the other barrel. If yours is leaking replace the oring.

    Does the gun have a integral suppressor or is it removable? I live in California and we're not allowed to have a suppressor unless it's integral or welded on. But we can't get the suppressor in order to do that. 😢

    • @VegasMikeP229
      @VegasMikeP229 7 месяцев назад

      I think that for Kalifornia, I'd put the suppressor on with a bit of blue loctite and after it's on, dribble some red at the barrel / suppressor joint for show-n-tell. The blue will keep it tight but you can take it off.

  • @mindshiftjoe1955
    @mindshiftjoe1955 10 месяцев назад +1

    I just saw the rest of this video and answered my own question lol. Do you know of anyone that can spot weld the suppressor to the barrel?

    • @VegasMikeP229
      @VegasMikeP229 7 месяцев назад

      Don't need to. From the factory, the suppressor is supposed to be put on with the Red (permanent) Loctite. If you don't have any loctite then use a couple drops of the Blue (#242) Loctite that is meant to hold the threads tight but can be unscrewed with a small amount of effort. I have the blue loctite all over my cars and various guns. If they used the Red Loctite, it takes some heating (via a propane torch) to loosen the item. My rifle barrel has it on with Red and when I get around to moving it to the pistol barrel, I'll use a drop or two of the blue Loctite to secure it. Blue loctite is also great on the rest of the screws and bolts on the gun, such as the scope mounting hardware.

      They don't glue the moderator on in England.
