Especially if a blizzard hits there is no need to haul hay bails from one barn to the other anymore. Not sure how much they got in the past storm and there is going to be a round 2 and round 3 this upcoming week..

I live on 14 acres in rural Western Pa.
Several years ago our neighbors son flew his drone over our place, and those aerial pictures just gives an awesome view and whole new perspective of how our land and the surrounding area look.
I really enjoy the aerial photography of your place, gives you great insight to see nature slumber and at rest during the winter months.
@@janetyurkin822 I live in a place called Slough, 6 miles from Windsor in the UK 🇬🇧. Unfortunately I also live under the flight path of London Heathrow Airport so my drone is restricted somewhat. I’m so envious of our cousins in the US 🇺🇸. Your country is so vast so you can pretty much do whatever you like.

That video had everything in it. Fun to watch the heifers frolic in the new bedding. Also fun to watch, as if I were a 5-year-old, was the tractor moving the old bedding out.

Another vote for simple routine and also the quiet farm noise intro. I just like hearing the sound of feet going through snow, cows munching, the tractor humming.

You've got to admire farmers. They get up and go to work no matter what the weather. They know how to do the upkeep of their mechanical things as well as know what to feed and how to clean up after the livestock.

My favourite farming day was Christmas Day afternoon, when I'd go back from my in-laws, alone, to feed and water and attend to the stock. By then, the turkeys were in everyone's tummies, the sheep were, therefore off the pasture and the pigs, I guess were in the freezers of friends and neighbours, laying hens cozy in their coops. Lovely!

I always liked cleaning out the pens in the cold. Was always impressed with how much heat is generated. The pile would steam for hours on a frosty day.
The snow finally reached us in northern NH. You're likely busy plowing today. I bet you'll capture some great footage of that, Pete. Looking forward to watching.

Yep another great content video little bit of everything, Tractor maintenance for us old coots, mucking out cattle pens. packing for market, but the best part. watching Hilary and Pete enjoying the Pork Belly sandwiches. We have them the same way. and slaw dogs too But the dogs we have with Chili con carne. under the slaw. as old Grampa from Hee Haw would say "Yum Yum" enjoy! thanks for sharing. ECF

The intro was brilliant, crunching snow, cows munching, firing up the bbq.......filling the water troughs......
I liked the trouble light in the refrigerator to keep the eggs from freezing. I had a 15w florescent light in a freezer in an unheated shop to keep rust and corrosion off my rust prone and electronic tools. Cost about $1/month to protect my tools over the 4 months of winter. Cheap insurance.
