As a Canadian, I would like to thank you for straightening me out on this whole celsius/fahrenheit conversion thing. I had it all wrong before you set me straight :)

As a metric person, I always chuckle at those Celcius numbers. This perfectly captures my own struggle dealing with the Fahrenheit scale.
Enjoy your comraderie as you work together. Just a steady, peaceful pace without high pressure. The older I get, any forward progress is better than none at all. Odd jobs may not be important to some folks, but takes another level of stress out of the equation on busier days during planting, haymaking, and harvest.

I am amazed that the little wire/plastic fence you put around the chicken coop actually keeps them in.
The chicken fence is electric net! It also keeps predators out.
I love these videos. As others have commented, they're calming--watching others work so hard calms me? lol But you put one foot in front of the other every day to get your best results. So cool to watch.

Very satisfying to see everything buttoned down for winter! I’ve done the same with my garden. Time to slow down a little and plan for next year.
I live in an active farming community. I am not a farmer. I am a gardener, workshop hobbyist and the snow is coming. I think that's one reason watching your farm brings me contentment. Where both of us live, the earth is run in seasonal cycles. We are getting our homes ready for what's coming. A wave of recognition hit me this morning watching the video. A deep comfort swept over me. Mankind has been in this ebb and flow for a long, long time. Nice.
Just out of curiosity,...how many go to the door and look out of the morning? I do. 🙋♀️🙋♀️ There's something about opening the door first thing to take in the start of the days weather and another new day. Everyone have a wonderful day! Pete and Hillary, have a wonderful day, also! 😊😊

Pete, you don't need to explain yourself, if people don't get it, they should move on. Seeing you put the chicken equipment up, I realized how long I have been watching you. Ha ha this isn't my first time seeing that. It was just as enjoyable as the last though. You and Hillary keep on keeping on.

It is the spirit you guys make your videos, the quality of sharing of your farm and lives that i personally look forward to. I have to say once more, i enjoy watching your channel. I have seen others adopting ideas from your methods and opinions on things. I have been struggling lately on whether to continue persuing my goals and dreams or change my goals and figure something else out. It has not been a case of it was easier said than done, it has just been a struggle whole picture for us. I really enjoyed the video you did about asking yourself the right questions. I am still thinking about that even now. Thank you for the advice and your outlook on how you will continue on in the future.

I can’t express how I felt watching you guys prepare for winter and put away all of your summer farm things. I said it was coming over me because in one moment, I thought you were gonna say that you were signing off and will never be back again. I grew to love you guys because of the fact that you carefully explain to us about fun life about is equipment about the lies of your animals and how much you deeply care for them. You gave them personality you gave them dignity you always love them and talk to them as if they were people and it gave me a sense of caring for those small animals I am a lover of animals but it was much more than just farm animals. I washed your children grow I watch you and your wife have a sense of connection as husband and wife and farmers. I want you to know that we love you we may not ever say that some of us are ugly in what we say but as for me here in Alabama we deeply care about you and Hillary whether love ever give you all the desires of your heart for you have bless our lives.
Hearing your messages about the future. I am as far from being a farmer as one could get, but I have always had a strong curiosity about all types of farming, and your channel is extremely interesting and entertaining to me. I also love the tractor restoration and work. I’d prefer to see both topics continue into the future, but regardless of your path forward, I will continue to watch and be a fan.

After a busy spring , summer and early fall it feels good to put it away and slow down for awhile. Happy winter here we come.
Just an FYI, I work as a cake decorator for our local grocery store. Our frosting comes in 5 gallon buckets with lids and it’s food grade. When we empty those. we literally throw them away so you may be able to find some buckets from your grocery store that they no longer want or they may sell for a super cheap price and they come with a lid that locks.
Gee that’s a darn handy tractor for what you use it for 👌
