DLC is definitely gonna happen, as with almost all AAA games recently. I hope the DLC is actually meaningful things like new stories and planets, but not just planets for the sake of planets.
If Tattooine has a cave with a Star Map you can find in the middle of the desert I’m going to freak out that would be a great Easter Egg. @@waveburner1254 I kind of hope there’s a portion of the unknown regions that is explorable in the game I mean it probably won’t happen, but that would be awesome and Dr.Aphra was able to cut a starweirds arm off when she borrowed Luke’s temporary temple guard lightsaber in one of the canon comics i don’t think she is force sensitive they are slightly different from their legends counterparts still very dangerous tho black holes would be a cool space hazard to add in too I just wonder how much they’re gonna put in this game I’m excited either way

Why do I have to play as a boring human character when the coolest looking droid right there 😭 but for real can we have more playable aliens in Star wars??
Yep: however the game turns out (hopefully a True Open World like they're so overtly stating), that will already be a more lovable and interesting draw than the whole of a game like Starfailed. We know no game is Perfect - but honestly, from the sweeping Main theme which already sounds grand and Unique - to the glimpses of enemy design, this already looks like it's had a ton more care put into it.
Tbh, after playing Avatar I'm REALLY concearned... I didn't like the idea of an Ubisoft Studio creating a Star Wars Game right from the start... I never played the Division Games, but never heard anything enticing about them... and now, after Avatar I have to say: a pretty world is definitaly NOT enough... Star Wars needs a compelling Story... and on that turf no Ubi-Studio was ever good at... Good that you can play Ubi-games through that Abo-System... :)
Well in order to find a compelling story you have to go to the 80s to find one for Star Wars. Ubisoft can't do any more damage compared to Disney so let them keep milking the franchise until it's such an embarrassment that it requires a good story to be successful.
Besides the badass commando droid, I'm more excited for star wars eclipse game than I am for this game. Honestly, I feel like pretty much all the new star wars games are only set during the imperial era, and I'm a little sick of it.
Idk about boba/jango’s blasters or the lightsaber blaster but there should definitely be the A180 and the DL-44 as those are staples in the star wars universe in regards to blasters
To be honest battlefront 2 mods show exactly how much star wars fans care about customizations. It's not a request that should be dismissed so easily but what do I know.
My biggest concern is not the game itself, but rather the fact that you need the internet to actually install the game, just like what they did with Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. I hope that is not going to be the case with Star Wars: Outlaws. I prefer to insert a disc and actually PLAY it from the get go....
If your not able to play the game offline, I'm not bothering with it. I'm getting sick of this online requirement crap, they did this with Ghost Recon Breakpoint and it causes so many connection issues and crashes.
@@sisigs4820 Since EA put this Dragon Age Keep crap on us, these online mandate requirements has been everywhere on almost every game. This is where the genre 'live service game' came from. And I hate it...I don't mind the fact I have to be online to install the game, as long as I don't need to be online 24/7 to play it. But yes, I know exactly what you getting at and I agree with you 100%...
Star Wars Outlaws is gonna have steep competition with Jedi Survivor being the most recent star wars game But I have high hopes for this game to be quite good and unique from most other star wars games as there won't be a lightsaber or the Force involved (Basically Solo and/or Andor in game form) As for cameos, I do hope they keep it limited but could be cool to see some characters (like Bounty Hunters or imperials) which would have been during this time Not that this will impact the story much but this game will be the first game to be set during the original trilogy I hope that Outlaws doesn't do what survivor did and majority of the campaign is set on just one planet (most likely tatooine) Maybe they could even include story only Planets (like Bracca or Nur) The trust system with the different syndicates will be really interesting and could introduce unique things for each syndicate maybe some specific Missions, cosmetics, companions, money or any other rewards I presume they will be the Pykes, The Empire, the Hutts, maybe the Crimson Dawn and many others - possibly seen in the book of boba fett I'm hoping that the story isn't the main focus and that there is lots of side content like the arkham games, Spiderman games and jedi survivor besides collectables - including secrets and Easter eggs Unlikely but possibly some side characters and we can switch between the characters similar to gta V and the arkham games during specific Missions Maybe they could even introduce attachments for your weapons with different scopes, technology (grapple, electric charge), magazines
I think cameos should be limited to characters not seen in movies or tv shows. Sana Starros(Han’s ex wife and bounty hunter) would be awesome. I think it’d be cool to also see Evaan Verlaine from the Princess Leia miniseries. She’s one of my favorite rebel characters because she’s fun and has a really cool aesthetic combo of Leia and Luke
Hop on SWG emu, it will be a far better experience than this slop. You can spend days or even weeks scouting the perfect location to place your very own player home anywhere on Tattooing, Dantooine, Naboo, Corellia, Rori, Lok and more.
I'm looking forward to it. Massive usually does pretty good to great so I'm optimistic. The character won't be great if the story isn't great so lets hope for a kickass story.
You don't have to agree with me, but I really hope that you can't just point the ship in any direction and automatically jump into hyperspace, but that you have to look in the direction of the hyperspace route in order to be able to jump. There's something similar in Star Wars Squadrons
7:10 guys don't create false expectation, the 5 planets are not all in the same solar system so of course there will be a loading screen to go from one to the other. Also, planets will have big explorable area so you cannot land and take off wherever you want. They already explained all this. It's a different game from Starfield with a different scope
As someone who's ridden the Ubisoft train for far too long, don't buy it, don't touch it, he'll don't even fucking look at it until launch. Then, wait 6 to 18 months and for a sale before considering purchase. No Ubisoft game has been finished enough to be full price since 2017.
I want to be able to customize who I am. I want to live out my fantasy of being a Star Wars bounty hunter, make my self in the game and play in first person, choose my ships, my clothes, my gun. What is the point of an open world game if there is no reason to explore. All we need is good customization and I think this game will be fun, I don't want to be locked onto one specific character. I really hope they can add some real customization.
I am old enough to have had a Sony account for Star Wars: Jump to Lightspeed prior to the Sony hack. I hope they include similar space mechanics with the asteroid mining, space stations and quests requiring going into space.
Negativity, that's my approach for this or any new SW game, if it sucks or i don't end up caring about it, nothing will be lost, if i end up being wrong, then awesome, I'll be super happy to buy and play it, stonks.
I never really understood the Ubisoft hate some people have, aside from a select few Ubisoft games I played which were kind of meh (AC Unity for instance), I've enjoyed nearly every Ubisoft game I have played, and I have played over 30 of them.
I don't think they deserve "hate". It's more just a feeling if blandness that makes me not bother with them. They don't look bad, just not something I'm missing out on by not playing. A mix of forgettable story and repeatative bland objectives and gameplay just doesn't speak to me. I bet I'd get some fun out of them but they don't look like anything I'm willing to go out of my way for.
Same. Some Assassin’s creed games are absolutely fantastic and among my favourite games of all time. Others are mediocre, but there are more hits than misses IMO
I hope that at some point in the future they should make a game that has a REAL reason to be in space, like, there will be some way to manually go into hyperdrive. You can look at some kind of map to figure out how far and what direction the planet you want to go to, then type that in and go.
The main character and the cute space cat thingy are just not giving "scoundrel" vibes. I wish they would go all in on a game where you're a imperial or something.
Hope they add alot of customisation like helmets and everything, like perhaps some empire uniform or armor or perhaps bounty hunting ones, besides that I'll side with the empire
I'm looking forward to it. I liked the recent Avatar game, well made in my mind, and the same for the Division games. I'm a big fan of Black Flag, I think that was the best Assassins Creed game.
Besides ship customization Id like to customize our character like Cal from Jedi series different hairstyles and outfits, hats and masks and blasters then let us customize our companions abit to atleast make our playthroughs feel abit unique in appearance if not multiple endings if there are none
I'm a HUGE Division player... hence the profile photo. If there's a few things that Massive does right, it's create immensely detailed and beautiful worlds and incorporate very satisfying gunplay mechanics. I have high hopes for this game. Massive has a lot of passionate Star Wars fans, Julian the Creative Director is one of them, and was the one in charge of Division at the time Division 1's live service ended and Division 2 released. Both of these games, have their flaws, but damn if the worlds they've created aren't so bloody immersive. Massive has their flaws but this is a very special thing they have on their plate, when the chips are down, they deliver and I've seen it happen time and time again.
I too play a lot of the Division but my worry is it will take them a couple of years to fix it, just like the Division 1&2, plus their ability to drop patches that break as much as they fix is amazing. I don't doubt they can do it, I just doubt their ability to do it without a couple of years working on it post launch.
@@gs8494 I feel like as long as they have their heart in the right place with this game, they won't screw it up, what division they have the Liberty to do so because it's their own creation, but if they go into Star Wars with that same mentality, it will backfire for any future for division and any future for massive in general. So I hope that this is the mentality that's looming over the development team working on this game, I hope it's always in the back of their heads if they screw this up it's going to be devastating for their Studio, but yeah I definitely understand what you're talking about
@@triippy...6476 I'm more positive than not if I'm honest and I don't think the Division with a Star Wars skin is a bad idea, regardless of the endgame the initial levelling experience in both Div's was good and the systems to an greater extent would work, we'll wait and see. We need an online game where it lets you be any type of character you want to play as from the universe. Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, soldier, the unknown regions would be the limit. It could open a whole new experience to gaming. Imagine an open world game, with multiple planets where the gamers are the people who make the stories. Friends can log into the game and play as a Jedi Master and their Padawan, role playing to the point where the Padawan is ready to face the Jedi trials (which could be a quest built into the game). After the Padawan passes the trials, they rank up to Knight, and can continue to role play from there. And that’s just a small possibility for the Jedi portion of the game. Consider the following: You play as a sith, you can role play as a ruthless warrior, or a cunning strategist You play as a smuggler, you can role play as a lone wolf type, or you can get a group of friends together and log into the game to form a crew. Choose which smuggler quests you’ll accept based on credits or notoriety. Each player can have something unique to their character that adds something to the crew. What that something is, is up to you. Do you want to play as the technician, or the bomber, or the sniper? Maybe you want to play as the loner who only joined the crew begrudgingly because they were running low on credits. The limit is your imagination. Play as a bounty hunter and choose to go after the slimiest sleemos in the galaxy, or go after the man who was just down on his luck, and made a deal with the wrong people, the choice is yours. Cold blooded and calculated, or badass with a heart of gold? Lone wolf or crew member? There could be collectibles in the game which levels up your character, and allows them to unlock new abilities. The Jedi collectibles could be Jedi holocrons, the Sith collectibles could be Sith holocrons, Smugglers can find crates, and Bounty Hunters can find bounty pucks I also have a zombie game that I wrote down in much more detail, but I won’t bore anyone here with it. Too bad I don’t know anything about game development lol
I discussed a game like this on a stream about three or four years ago. I hope it includes the ability to customize your ship, weapons and look. Being able to help either faction (Imperial, Rebel, Pikes or Black Sun) would be cool. Red Dead meats GTA, hopefully this is a good one. As for the protagonist, why has the ability to choose your character been removed from games? Studios need to stop being so cheap. However, that said, I am still sat here waiting for Star Wars Battlefront 3. A merger of Apex Legends movement and ping with the Characters, Maps, Weapons and Game Modes of SWBF 2015 and 2017. Am I hoping for too much?
The fact that it kind of feels like they made they made a female main character not as a design choice but what felt more like a marketing “lets make people mad” kind of decision if im correct which i could not be they released the trailer and then had a preloaded response to people being mad about the female MC its like they knew people would not like that which is worrying
I genuinely hope that they add some character and weapon customisation. Like imagine we can get a mandalorian helmet from a mission involving a rogue mandalorian bounty hunter, or maybe some old/ scrap pieces of clone trooper armour. Also it would be awesome if one mission ends up with us uncovering a jedi holocron in the deserts of tatooine that leads us to an adandoned hut in the desert (Obi-wan's bc he is dead by this point) where we can recover some jedi robes (or maybe even qui gon's saber.
I just want a fable styled Star Wars game. Where you can choose your path. Also, I hope this game has cool outfits for the character, like at least a hooded cloak. Not asking for much.
My first impressions: 1.) No Character Cration, bummer, but not the end. 2.) Gunplay LOOKS nice, Space Combat LOOKS nice, I hope they ARE NICE. 3.) Graphics look as good as expected in this PS5/XBox Series X Era. 4.) Characters seem interesting. I'm definitely interested in the BX - Special Forces Droid 5.) Open world. I'm all in, I've been wanting an OW Star Wars game since KOTOR at the earliest! 6.) I'm glad for the starship, but I was hoping to buy and/or customize my own ship. Maybe another Star Wars game.
I'd like customizable load outs, I'd like to see some clone wars era guns that do more damage to doids, slug throwers that pass through energy shields, hopefully some hit missions where the goal is just to kill a person, I want too see more corruption in imperial officers, sabotage missions, and most of all I want cool helmet's, the best bounty hunters have cool helmets
This will never happen lol. You know that disney takes nearly up to 26% or less of sales when it comes to their ip and this includes the x-men and probably same for spiderman. I don’t think so because she seems like the character that doesn’t care about the empire or the rebellion but the empire keeps getting in her way like you see in the gameplay trailer with the bribery. I feel like the rebels wouldn’t waste their time chasing a scoundrel who obviously doesn’t want to do anything against them because they’ve probably never done anything to her

@@thecoolestbean4688What's sad is that LucasArts before they were closed down by Disney were planning on making a sequel to Republic Commando, called "Imperial Commando" I believe it would have been about Delta Squad seeing the fall of the Republic and then getting merged into the Empire. Eventually Delta Squad would flee the empire and join or try to join the Rebels at least according to the rumors that I've heard. Sounds like a cool story.
@@thecoolestbean4688 Why? Clone Wars era is so much more interesting than the Rebel era
I have a feeling there will be a lot of dlc that you need to buy to experience newer things
Or maybe you’re out alone flying in a debris field with no one else out there and you hear a terrifying shriek. and your ship is being chased by starweirds you either have to shoot them with your ships canons or jump to hyperspace to escape and encounters with them could be rare and random to surprise the player.
Aren't Starweirds only found in the unknown regions tho?
Also I doubt that someone would ever survive an encounter with them, especially Someone non force sensitive.

Jedi survivor and the one before it sucked. Nothing Disney has made has been good at all. Period.

I can't wait to play another Ubisoft open world game, surely it won't just be climb tower, collect things, and craft stuff the game Vol. 27!
If Ubisoft does one thing right it’s giving you stuff to do in their open worlds. It can be repetitive at times but it’s better than having nothing to do in a video game.
Repetitiveness IS nothing to do.
Repetitiveness is only tolerable if it's fun and satisfying. If they make you do a bunch of missions that feel like chores then it's not good.

there are plenty of solid stories done by Ubisoft... most of the AC games have solid stories even the most recent Mirage
Ac hasn't had a good story since 4
@@nah4506i feel like the story was always ok like origins and odysseys story is good enough for the game but nothing crazy
Well in order to find a compelling story you have to go to the 80s to find one for Star Wars. Ubisoft can't do any more damage compared to Disney so let them keep milking the franchise until it's such an embarrassment that it requires a good story to be successful.
> "Why does he wear a trenchcoat?!"

I hope these 5 blasters are in outlaws, the A180 with its attachments, boba and jango fett's blaster, the DL-44 and if possible a blaster lightsaber.
You’re right man. It’s sad people aren’t raising this as a possible problem.
Star Wars Outlaws is gonna have steep competition with Jedi Survivor being the most recent star wars game
But I have high hopes for this game to be quite good and unique from most other star wars games as there won't be a lightsaber or the Force involved
(Basically Solo and/or Andor in game form)
As for cameos, I do hope they keep it limited but could be cool to see some characters (like Bounty Hunters or imperials) which would have been during this time
Not that this will impact the story much but this game will be the first game to be set during the original trilogy
I hope that Outlaws doesn't do what survivor did and majority of the campaign is set on just one planet (most likely tatooine)
Maybe they could even include story only Planets (like Bracca or Nur)
The trust system with the different syndicates will be really interesting and could introduce unique things for each syndicate maybe some specific Missions, cosmetics, companions, money or any other rewards
I presume they will be the Pykes, The Empire, the Hutts, maybe the Crimson Dawn and many others - possibly seen in the book of boba fett
I'm hoping that the story isn't the main focus and that there is lots of side content like the arkham games, Spiderman games and jedi survivor besides collectables - including secrets and Easter eggs
Unlikely but possibly some side characters and we can switch between the characters similar to gta V and the arkham games during specific Missions
Maybe they could even introduce attachments for your weapons with different scopes, technology (grapple, electric charge), magazines
Why do cameos matter? I just want a good new star wars game to play
I'm really sad that we aren't getting a custom character star wars game still :(
Check out KOTOR 1 and 2, as well as SWTOR those games let you customize your character.

Oh my gosh 2023 is over in a few days Star Wars outlaws is right around the corner hopefully it does good

Really hope that outlaws will at least be a decent game. Absolutely looking forward to more info on the game. Especially bombastic.
I think it will be a good change because most of the time we’re playing as a Jedi and we don’t get many gun focused Star Wars games.
I would hope there's some sort of multiplayer or co-op as well.

Consider the following:
You play as a sith, you can role play as a ruthless warrior, or a cunning strategist
You play as a smuggler, you can role play as a lone wolf type, or you can get a group of friends together and log into the game to form a crew.
The Jedi collectibles could be Jedi holocrons, the Sith collectibles could be Sith holocrons, Smugglers can find crates, and Bounty Hunters can find bounty pucks
I also have a zombie game that I wrote down in much more detail, but I won’t bore anyone here with it. Too bad I don’t know anything about game development lol
The most game im hyped about is outlaws 🙏🏽❤️
oh it better be good. i need this
I discussed a game like this on a stream about three or four years ago.
I’m not expecting anything good to come from Ubisoft, so I won’t be disappointed when it is shit on release.
The fact that it kind of feels like they made they made a female main character not as a design choice but what felt more like a marketing “lets make people mad” kind of decision
if im correct which i could not be they released the trailer and then had a preloaded response to people being mad about the female MC its like they knew people would not like that which is worrying
We need a Star Wars game like hogwarts legacy specifically the character customization part and that it’s on Xbox one
Its current gen only
I just want a fable styled Star Wars game. Where you can choose your path. Also, I hope this game has cool outfits for the character, like at least a hooded cloak. Not asking for much.
My first impressions:
1.) No Character Cration, bummer, but not the end.
2.) Gunplay LOOKS nice, Space Combat LOOKS nice, I hope they ARE NICE.
3.) Graphics look as good as expected in this PS5/XBox Series X Era.
4.) Characters seem interesting. I'm definitely interested in the BX - Special Forces Droid
5.) Open world. I'm all in, I've been wanting an OW Star Wars game since KOTOR at the earliest!
6.) I'm glad for the starship, but I was hoping to buy and/or customize my own ship. Maybe another Star Wars game.
seeing the open world from avatar, and the coop style gameplay from the division, I am excited for this game. GTA 6 but star wars? Alright!!

You said it yourself, starfield has a ton of flaws, and that is a result of leaning on procedural generation. You cant have it both ways. You either get a handful of good crafted locations, or garbage procedural generation
They need to make a Triple A Star Wars First Person Shooter. (Literally just a Clone Wars Era Call of Duty game, with a campaign and Multiplayer. Maybe even a zombies mode on Geonosis??)
Im curious to know if you only fight stormtroopers and tie fighters or if they have special forces like interceptors, defenders, and storm commandos.
