My professor linked your word class video as part of our study material. I've been watching your videos since. Thank you for your work, they are so helpful and they make revising a lot easier. 💜

Hi everyone, just to clarify: I'm originally from Germany, but have lived abroad for most of my life and have been in Britain since 2003. If you're interested in accent, language contact phenomena, etc., watch this space! There are more videos to come on language contact, which is my main research area. Thanks for watching x

Funnily, this was my assumption after I heard you talking. For me as a German your accent is still quite noticeable. When you pronounced "have" I immediately thought of this phenomenon called word final devoicing ("Auslautverhärtung"). Am I right with that or would you say it's part of your British accent?
