  • King's Cutz in Rock Hill was the first barbershop in the Charlotte area to join a new program that promotes literacy of young black children in the community. According to the U.S. Department of Education, 85% of black male students are not proficient in reading, which is why a local pastor is helping change that by placing books in barbershops, so young boys can improve their reading skills while spending quality time with their fathers. #WakeUpCLT #BHM #BlackHistoryMonth
