Great video. I love watching how people sort paper!
Great paper and adorable dogs!
I do love sorting my papers . I like sorting with you and as it’s interesting other people’s thought process.
I loved this...I think I'll be doing this paper sort in the near future! I think those triangles could go into "graphic shapes" like you suggested, or misc shapes. It's nice that your get to visit with your mom; I've been home for a month now (just me and my husband), but I've had a couple outdoor, socially distant visits with my parents (it was nice to see them, even though I couldn't hug them). We did a virtual visit on Easter (via Zoom)...there were 13 of us on there so it was fun! :)
Thanks Kathy ... I had fun making this video and I want to get back to sorting my paper, but I've been busy with some of my other projects. It's nice that you have your hubby to keep you company and it sounds like you're finding ways to still see your family at a distance. stay safe.
I love watching long videos while I scrap. And, I'm with you I LOVE paper. tfs
OMG, I have 2 black and tan yorkies, too! love these dogs
How awesome!!! I'm amazed by how many crafty scrappy people have yorkies 😋
I love listening and watching paper sorting and any scrappy organization. Hope you film the rest of your stack. Thanks, stay healthy!
Thanks Diane ... I did finish sorting that stack but have more paper to sort and I'm going to do another video soon :)
Love watching scrappers sorting paper and making page kits!
I'm right there with you Kathy!
You have lots of beautiful papers and your kit is looking great too.
My paper is sorted fairly well. I keep all my Paige Evans together, same with Maggie Holmes as I find most of their lines coordinate well with each other PE with PE etc. I keep all my Vicki Boutin together too.
I struggle with loose papers because although I like all those categories and use some of them I find that if I have a bunch of papers from a collection and separate them then it bugs me because everything was coordinated and now its a hodgepodge LOL.
I'd love to see what else is in that pile LOL.
That last paper that you put on the bottom I'd use as a background
tfs ... I may find that I feel that same way about separating my collections. So, I'm hoping that once I do this reorganization into categories that I'm not going to want to put it back into collections. But if I did want to do that, the names are on the paper, so it would be super easy to put it back into order by collection. I did some more paper sorting after I stopped the video and that paper that I put on the bottom did end up in my backgrounds category!
I could have watched you sort the entire pile of paper. I was talking to you on the video... did you hear me? lol. My dog think I'm crazy talking to the TV! Love this video!!! Keep on sorting, you rock!
Hi Mary Beth! LOL ... that's so funny that you talk to me through the TV!!! I do that too when I'm watching RUclips videos. So happy you liked this video! I have more paper to sort, so I'll probably do another one of these some time soon! It's one of my favorite videos to make ... I just love looking through paper!!! Hope you have an awesome day! Karen
I loved this video and I've watched it twice. It's just good to hear your thoughts on each design and how you're organizing them so that it works for you.
Love your videos! My yorkie barks at anything or anybody in our yard. They are so cute!!!
I loved this video! I love watching people look through/organize paper (Or really anything scrappy!!!) Please do more of these videos!! Yes, please! Your video of the doggies was super cute too! Love all your organizing videos! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Julie ... I love watching people look through their paper too!!! I'm working on a project that I have to finish today but I can't wait to get back to sorting my paper and I plan to do another video soon :)
Love watching paper sorting and see if I pick the same side as you pick tfs😊🇨🇦stay safe
It's good to have little furry companions and your dogs are so adorable.
Another great video! I love watching papers being sorted, especially the part where you told us how you would use the papers. Gives lots of ideas for similar paper.
Thanks so much! 😊
Caroline Rheaume I love watching all kinds of things being sorted. I enjoy the sense of order and thought process but my own sorting challenge is paper and associated bits and bobs.
Your dogs make me smile everytime
Love paper sorting!
I loved this video. It is great to see and hear your thoughts on organising paper into categories. I am going to do this one day. Thanks Karen, take care 💕
I’m in the middle of sorting my paper in a way similar to yours, so I’ve really enjoyed this video. I just decided that i needed an icon category, so it was funny that you did the same. I’d ;love to see more videos like this because they are good to watch while working on something. Not too distracting-LOL!
Hi Sandy ... I'm really happy that so many people have said they like this type of video because it was super fun to do. I've been wanting to do more paper sorting but I've been working on the editing for several other videos and trying to get them finished. But I think I might have to take a break from doing that today and do some more paper sorting. It's just so much fun to play with paper and I love sorting it! So, hopefully, I'll have another paper sorting video soon. Happy Crafting !
I liked this video and I don’t mind the length of it. I like to scrap or organize right alongside these! No need to apologize for it being long😉. Can’t wait to see what kind of kit you pulled together for Mini Kit Monday!!!! 🤗
Thanks Daisy .. my mini kit was not so mini but it was super fun to build the kit with the mood board provided by Kathy. So excited to be joining y'all for this month's Mini Kit Monday challenge!!!
My favorite line that made me laugh out loud: "I cut out all of these little kites...and I'm not doing THAT again?!" LOL Thanks for being so honest and human!
I enjoyed your paper organizing video. No need to apologize for the length. Looking forward to your next video.
I definitely like this video! Part 2 is already posted and I’m moving on to it! Haven’t been on too much lately!
Maybe call the new section for the triangles a geometric...a lot of things would fit in there that could keep down the number of extra categories that might only have a few sheets each.
Hi Denise ... thanks for the suggestion ... that's an awesome name for that category and that gave me an idea to use sub categories ... so I could have a category (divider) for geometric and then under that category, some sub categories for a few of the ones that I want to have separate like chevrons and stripes and everything else would just go in the main category.
What was the name again of where you get the daily challenges?

Just started watching your videos.. love them.. Are these papers from paper pads or did you buy them each as individuals?
Hi Lisa ... the paper in my flip bins is mostly individual papers or from collections kits with a few papers from paper pads. If the paper has a branding strip, then it did not come from a paper pad. However, I didn't buy a lot of these as individual sheets .. most of the paper came from lots on eBay, some from kit clubs and collection kits and then also some from online stores. My favorite ebay seller is www.ebay.com/str/discountscrapbooklotsandmore and the best online store to get individual paper is Scrapbooking-for-less.com (2 sheets for $1.20). If you are just starting out, eBay is a great resource for getting some of the older collections and Scrapbooking-for-Less has some newer collections. Hope this helps. Karen 🤗
@@YesPleasePapercrafts I started scrapbooking years ago but I had to pack my stuff & put it in the basement for a while. Now we changed a room into an office/craft room. I'm TRYING to organize all my supplies & figure out my style so I can get back to it. Thank you for the suggestions.
