As much as I liked the Ikaruga fight for The End, it was mostly because of the music and The End’s speech. Wasn’t a big fan of the last stretch where you had no choice but to sit through another speech as you did nothing but survive despite its health being basically zero. So while I would’ve liked The End to actually say things here, it at least feels like progress is being made throughout the fight, least whenever the game lets you target the cord and then The End afterwards.
Interesting that they made a Spider fight without the skydiving and a tank fight without the homing attack inside a tornado. Could it be that they received feedback from players and felt most didn't like when the gameplay would suddenly changed and decided to just keep the focus on the normal combat instead?

The spider theme was my favourite song in the game, even above the Titan themes. So when my camera was suddenly dragged away from me and the spider+ theme started playing I was hyped as hell, so when I beat it without ever getting thrown into the sky and realising there’s no beat drop, that hurt.
I really don't understand the decision to make tails not have melee attacks, that makes him very Difficult to use in combat, the only combats where it is really useful is against "tank" and "ghost"
He's also good at dealing with the Caterpillars because if you manage to put the charged wrenches in front of the caterpillar's crawling path, it count's a physical object that only blocks it's path, it also stunlocks it, prevent it from running away from you, and you don't have to attack it's back weakpoint, either! If a Tank or a Caterpillar is screwing you over, Tails' charged wrenches screws them equally as hard, if not harder. To sum it up, Sonic Wins against *most* bosses by sheer power at this point except Tanks and Caterpillars because they are BS, Amy and Knuckles can beat some by skill except Tanks and Caterpillars same reason as Sonic, and while Tails sucks against most bosses because he doesn't have proper homing attack and combo system, only projectiles, Tails wins against a couple of bosses everybody else sucks at by using said projectiles, and just chip damage them with Charged Wrenches into oblivion! Very niche, but when used in the right situation against the right bosses, Tails is just pure cheese!
Unpopular opinion: I loved the main story's bullet hell fight against The End. This update is essentially the EX mode of Sonic Frontiers, complete with an alternate ending and a different final fight where the main bad guy does some creepy ass stuff.
I love it so much when Sonic Frontiers upgrades the Guardians, that means they have powers that weren't seen in the normal version. I also like the fact in the final boss battle that The End takes control of Supreme and gives him five extra hands. Thanks for your hard work Sega
Now that I defeated the Master King Koco Trial on hard mode I value these bosses more! Giganto Felt like an Actual Final boss for a Sonic game, Wyvern Felt like if the Doomsday Zone was fully implanted into 3D with Modern aspects! Knight Felt Like a Metal Gear Rising Final Boss and The End made Perfect Dark Gaia Look like a Joke and more Challenging! These bosses have been the best Bosses Sonic Team Had to offer and definitely the most memorable parts for Sonic Frontiers!

Fighting these with Knuckles is nearly impossible. Had to keep leaving boss arena to spam the Cyloop to get my health back up and go back in to barely damage them at all. I kept repeating this long cycle till they were killed. Knuckles combat moveset is quite disapointing in this update considering he is supposed to be a heavy hitter power type who's great at punching things. Keep in mind that this was with a fully maxed attack and defense Knuckles. Did the developers not play test this? They must not have because anyone who isn't Sonic is just pitfully weak against any of the boss fights. It's not even hard in the sense of being a fun challenge, it just feels staight broken. Cheesing it is the only way you could possibly hope to win.

I will agree, this gameplay does look flashy and the player at the very least has good game knowledge, but due to the way the combat system heavily automates a lot of stuff, you can get these impressive looking results with fairly simple input chains. Most of the attack chains against the mini bosses are literally just homing attack spam, interspersed with pressing the jump button for that spinny maneuver (the copy flourish thing is just homing attack spam after reaching a certain combo count), while the anti-titan combo looks to just be homing attack into stomp, rinse and repeat. Even the parries aren't that special since they aren't precise in this game. As in you just have to hold the parry button combo and you will get locked in place indefinetly, parrying the first incoming attack automatically (no need to release on time), which can then be followed up with another double button press for an automatic counter move.

Some people don’t like how difficult the update is, me personally I appreciate it. I think it feels more “endgame” than the OG one(but that’s just me).
You *can* fight all of the minibosses as the other characters but ...don't honestly. Silver Hammer is a 45 minute fight as knuckles, because none of the characters have any combos or actual special moves like Sonic does
The general consensus is difficult, clunky handling of new characters, and difficult. There’s definitely a learning curve to the new characters. As well as having to stop and look up what to do in certain situations.
I hate that they made the guardians such damage sponges as a means of prolonging combat, sure the new attack patterns are alright, but it just makes them so annoying to fight, except for the ghost, that fight is still super dope.

RIGHT?????? It was then after I play though Chaos Island, were not only did the Update still did not fix it's level design issues, its EXTREMLY frustrating Buzzsaw Chase and the Pinball Mini-Game have not been touch or removed, but looking at the fourth Island, which is still a side-area with six towers, I keep thinking to myself: Wow, did Sega really just...... And after final getting to the Supreme fight (which to drop SOME point of credit, they DID update the fight) and notic no changes to The End fight, that's when I realize that Sega did NOTHING for the main game of Sonic Frontiers for its third update, the Token Grinding is still tedious as hell, the "fourth" and fifth Islands are still pad-out areas with no added Story Changes, they guarding boss are still rehashed from previous main Island, the Mini-Games are STILL required to beat the main story and are just as frustrating as they were previously, and the Final Boss is still a band and frustrating slog (which took me, no joke, FOURTEEN TRIES TO BEAT TODAY.), so overall, littary NOTHING was added to this main story, which basically means that I replayed Sonic Frontiers a second/third time on THE SAME YEAR, and wasted nearly 10 hours for nothing and that just sucks so much as. I just hope that the DLC will be good, because if the DLC is gonna turn out to be bland as some people say it is, I REALLY don't know if I should considered Sonic Frontiers a great Sonic game as say Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Generations and ect.

In fact, the Supreme is a mixture of all three titans. He has the same build as Giganto, can fly freely as a Wyvern and uses weapons like a Knight.

A unique thing that happens during The End Fight is when you get hit by it you lose some of your total Rings.

Only reason to switch it to Hard/Extreme Mode now other than as a challenge is to listen to One Way Dream instead of Vandalize for Normal/East.

Then came the moment were not only were the Mini Games for the first main Island area still here, as well as how the Token Grinding in the second main area is still just as tedious then it was previous, but then came scene after defeating the Second Titan boss, to which Sonic says "Ok, only one more Titan to go!", he didn't say a few more or two more, he said only ONE more Titan, tho I just think: MAYBE it's a little error in the dialogue, I'm sure it's not like Sonic Frontiers is going to be the same as it was previous but with DLC, Sega wouldent do that right... RIGHT??????
It was then after I play though Chaos Island, were not only did the Update still did not fix it's level design issues, its EXTREMLY frustrating Buzzsaw Chase and the Pinball Mini-Game have not been touch or removed, but looking at the fourth Island, which is still a side-area with six towers, I keep thinking to myself: Wow, did Sega really just......
And after final getting to the Supreme fight (which to drop SOME point of credit, they DID update the fight) and notic no changes to The End fight, that's when I realize that Sega did NOTHING for the main game of Sonic Frontiers for its third update, the Token Grinding is still tedious as hell, the "fourth" and fifth Islands are still pad-out areas with no added Story Changes, they guarding boss are still rehashed from previous main Island, the Mini-Games are STILL required to beat the main story and are just as frustrating as they were previously, and the Final Boss is still a band and frustrating slog (which took me, no joke, FOURTEEN TRIES TO BEAT TODAY.), so overall, littary NOTHING was added to this main story, which basically means that I replayed Sonic Frontiers a second/third time on THE SAME YEAR, and wasted nearly 10 hours for nothing and that just sucks so much as.
I just hope that the DLC will be good, because if the DLC is gonna turn out to be bland as some people say it is, I REALLY don't know if I should considered Sonic Frontiers a great Sonic game as say Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Generations and ect.

I’m just going to say this……… The Final Horizon is better than the Main Story and Sonic should not just turned into Super Sonic than Super Sonic 2 but than Hyper Sonic after he recharged against the Supreme Beast/The End.
