hi Aunty Tried this recipe today at home. The gulabjamuns came out lovely after frying, but i think the ratio of sugar to water in your recipe needed ammending for me. As when i used your measurements my sugar solution was getting crystallised, so i had to add equal amount of water too the amount of sugar, also i had to let the jamuns simmer a bit in the solution for them to become soft and completely soaked. I also made gulabjamuns using the Gits mixture, just to compare them with yours. i want to especially mention here that the gulabjamuns with your recipe were very tasty and they held their shape as opposed to the ones made with Gits mixture
Bilal Soomro ji, Bread Gulabjamun banaane mein chashni 1 taar ki hona zaroori hai - jaisa humne video mein dikhaaya hai. Aisa naa ho toh bread ke gulaab jamun cashni mein bohot jyada soft ho jaate hain ya bikhar jaate hain. 1 taar ki cashni exactly maintain karne ke liye humne sugar mein extra paani add kiya hai taaki dheere dheere paani sookhne ke saath hum (ya hamaare viwers) taar naap kar chashni ki consistency maintain kar sakein. Agar hum iss case mein bhi kum paani add karte toh chaashni jaldi sookh jaati aur kaafi cases mein 1 ke badle 1.5 ya 2 taar ki chaashni bann jaati. Toh aapke sawaal ka asaan jawaab yeh hai, ki chaashni ki consistency gradually change hone ke liye humne Bread Gulab jamun ke case mein paani jyada add kiya hai. Instant Gulab jamun mix se bane gulab jamun mein bass halki honey ki consistency aana hi kaafi hai. :)
Madam your recipe has failed, I just tried to make it acorrding to your directives but they all seprated in oil, all go waisted my time, effort and material.
