Fantastic work by all! I'm currently watching & listening to this directly after the video of Abdel Rahman El Bacha performing the same piece 43 years ago. I love the future.
El Bacha made me discover this piece but played it so badly.Messy notes without any feeling.SO I put the work aside until I heard Yuja Wang.This one (Keigo)over exagerates the slowing down. Best is Yuja Wang here on YT.
If he didn't make a huge mistakes at 2nd Movement, he might be a winner. His playing of rameau,debussy,shostakovich, and rachmaninoff in previous stages are the best performance i ever heard👍

昔からこの曲にはなんだかとりつかれていて、様々な演奏のなかでも、なぜかこの曲は筋肉質てきな構成（具体的にはなにが筋肉質的なのかいえないけれど）でなければいけないと思いこんでて、あれはちがうこれもちがうと探してみつけたのがこの務川さんの演奏。がっちり組み立てた全体のなかで、各部署もしっかり肉付けして説得力のある音楽になっていてはっまってしまいました。
冬に夜景見ながら聴きたくなる‥

@@burrenmagic yes he is, I love his Shostakovich, and Rameau the most! everything he plays is excellent.
