- In an effort to provide you guys with the most variety as far as The Dear Hunter goes, I did some digging and compiled these EPs, Demos, and Single Songs into various uploads. Enjoy!

Seriously, made my day.. This is fu..ing worth beeing posted in public, perfection is very subjective. As a serious DH fun I just love to hear the draft versions of my favourite songs in its brutal and intuitive state before the "cleaning process". Such a masterpiece!
There are also a lot of unreleased songs that are seriously underrated
Iv been waiting for this to be back on the internet where I can reach it for many many years. Thank you to the band for giving me so many nostalgic memories and to who ever made this available. Good shit.
Ah, now the thread of continuity between TREOS and TDH makes a lot of sense.
What is TREOS?
@@Nekotaku01 TREOS is The Receiving End of Sirens. Casey Crescenzo was the lead singer in TREOS before the Dear Hunter. TDH originally was Casey's sort of pet project that gradually grew into a greater priority, and TREOS is no longer a band. TREOS has a bit more of this rawness even in their production, along with some more eclectic, experimental fusions of a gritty, post-hardcore vibe and a progressive melodic backdrop. Check them out. I value TREOS' music, though I definitely prefer TDH. It will make more sense of the musical continuity between the two bands if you listen to Between the Heart and the Synapse, and then this album.

ya it must have leaked or Casey released it somewhere online. I had it in full as well.

it's a shame the only files of the cover of this demo are really bad quality, like deepfried jpeg quality. i'm thankful for whatever we got, though

Good afternoon. I've seen this up before and I will ask nicely again on the behalf of Casey and the gang to remove this from RUclips or any other site. He seriously does not want these demos up so please remove them ASAP. You are not the first to post, so there is no blame placed, especially because you are a fan, but I know that Casey will be bummed if you don't remove it. As you know, Casey is a perfectionist and only wants material out there that he deems worthy, unless of course you're posting live concert footage. Anyways, I am not only a fan, but also his cousin, as well as a father to one of the band mates. Your help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Sean Tousseau.
I appreciate the comment and understand the sentiments behind it. However, I feel removing this would be like acting like this demo never existed. Everyone has content they regret making, but it's a great way to showcase how far someone has come in their careers. The people here seem to enjoy it, based on the comments and the like/dislike ratio. It's far from the worst thing, as a matter of fact, the raw vocals and instruments make it interesting to listen to. (Not to mention the video has been up for almost a year and I'm only just now getting this comment.) I must respectfully decline based on these points. I hope you understand.
I tried. It's really up to Casey in the end. I know that he's asked me to have these taken down before but do what you want.
I for one hold these demos and original work in the highest regard and very dear to my heart. I sincerely please request they remain. Not only for my listening pleasure but for everyone to get an amazing sense of what this band was and has become. I’ll always be a fan and have contributed to shows, merch, and the fan base of this band since the first show I saw with them. Days away opened for them in Philli many years ago and if I could relive one show in my life it would be that one. It’s just too kickass to erase from exists. I’ll respect anyone’s decision either way but finding this made my fucking day and I can never thank them enough for creating such a beautiful part of my life.
Assuming you've got some sort of contact with Casey, I really agree with Austin in how we love these things. It's inspiring to see how an artist grows and evolves from the start of an idea to the finished project. A large part of me loves to see variations in how a song is presented, which demos provide exceptionally well. I know it's not always flattering to see drafts displayed, but I hope he might be able to appreciate how much we appreciate these kinds of things

Hey man, I know this was done in appreciation of a great band, but you really need to take this down out respect for the artist, his process, and the manner in which the public receives his art.
That's great, but I've downloaded the video already. It's too good to be thrown into obscurity
