oh my god, a good chunk of the second half of the telefony demo was repurposed for the closer to Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000, that's so fucking cool to know
Thank you so much for sharing this! That's pure bliss for tough times. Amazing how Telephony and Hunter have kept their original sound. Telephony as an instrumental is even more spectrally beautiful. Hunter really takes the time to develop his heavy and melancholic melody. Feral Optimists and Stars and Air already haunts me...
@@Laikaprojekt Ive personally always had Telephony as the song that is the most relatable-y gloomy to me, mourning over the loss of a loved one. Probably because I found the band when I lost someone
@@ichizen Neutral Milk Hotel. Pretty renowned and legendary Indie Rock band from the 90s, dropped two albums ('96 & '98) the latter of which is considered by many to be one of the best in the genre and a classic. Highly suggest you check them out, but be warned, the singer is one of those "emotional singers", he belts those lyrics out like its going out of style and that seems to be a dealbreaker for a lot of people
each part does feel a lot more special when it's drawn out like it is here, and the added parts are also better than on deathconsciousness without them. it's much better.
don't know when it was recorded here, but it took quite a while for them to use swords to plowshares lol (it's trespassers w on sea of worry which came out 2019) edit: THE INTENSE PART OF SISYPHUS ACTUALLY GOES CRAZY IN THIS VERSION WTH
@@oakquercusi meant that i don't know when the version of the song used on this compilation thing was recorded, and that since it wasn't put onto an official record until 2019, it took them a while to use the song
the "why is love so lonely, why is love so lonely-y" sounds so much better in this version of deep, deep. also i wish they kept those vocals at the end of the track
this is my faourite album by them. Its not like unrecognisably covered in darkness, , it feels like an album a bout a have a nice life fan and i find that alot more stomachable, im just not game to lsiten to their other stuff al the time personally

Knife Throwing Contest is the first song in a long time to give me the same feeling I felt when listening to NMH for the first time

All Teeth has quickly become one of my favorite songs of theirs
Voids physical release announced - Voids ii next??? A fan can dream I guess
I wish. Flenser said on Insta that Dan and Tim don’t want to publicly release VS You. It’d be nice to have that physically too
Hunters instrumental is so fucking good
really glad i stumbled onto this video. i really gotta look more into have a nice life.
what the fuck telefony sounds sick
I agree, the extra drone is so nice
always bringing this album up when raiding chambers of xeric
Обожаю эту группу ❤❤❤❤
i like telefony here much better than in deathconciousness
