- The high stakes poker player known as Jungleman (Daniel Cates) strolled into Doug Polk's home turf, The Lodge Card Club, for a cash game challenge. A Texas Showdown. The game: $200/$400 No Limit Hold'em with a $50,000 initial buy-in. If either player loses their $50,000 or even dips below it, he may rebuy for any amount at any time. Will "Deputy Dan" come away from his trip to Austin with a victory? Will "Sheriff Doug" keep the title at home? This highlight reel from the match answers those questions with all of the biggest pots and boldest plays included.

Came for the poker, stayed for the sexual chemistry

I always thought Vanessa and jungle would make a great couple 🤪
Jungle has to be one of the weirdest people in poker... In a good way!
Edgy but naturally funny.
Are u saying this is how Jungle normally dresses?
@@yeeluvspizza you must be new here
Definitely on the spectrum 😃
Super awkward but super cool at the same time!
Jungle is an icon. How can you not love this dude
He's no Hellmuth but yeab
It should be a crime not showing Jungles commentary after the K4 hand…
These editors are bone heads
Thanks for the edit! Hope you guys had fun
Great game, great commentary - a quality stream, thanks gents!
Doug looks like a park ranger.
Huge missed opportunity for Jungle to be "Dirty Dan" here
Is Dirty Dan more of a Weenie Hut General or Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat kinda guy?
At 8:35, look at Jungleman's face as he can barely suppress a smile at the $18k bluff he's thinks he's about to get through on Doug, then watch as the smirk slowly turns into a frown as Doug uses his fancy Canadian maths to talk himself into a call.
Jungles such a cool character
Good to see Vanessa playing at the lodge!!!
Ya'll look like the guys from Village People playing poker.
Doug looks like that Reno 911 cop...hope he's not wearing those short shorts under the table...
With the aviators and the smug glare Doug looks like a real cop. Dan looks like a funny cowboy
IDK....
He looks like a fukn park ranger to me at best lol
the QQ v AA hand was a debacle of streaming .
Mike Brady's commentating is great.
thanks m8 hope you enjoyed the show
You know what else Mike Brady is good at??

@@mbradycf uhhhhh ummmm poker!?
polk vs limitless live?
Doug wouldn't do it. He saw Fedor vs. Limitless online and thought the guy sucked. "Oh my God, Daniel (Negreanu) would not do this."
Jungle seems to be outplaying him until he gets coolered or sucked out on.
I agree
doug with the worst fitting costume in the history of costumes
GG Doug. He ran better than Jungle on this day. 2 awesome characters. Jungleman is always entertaining!
17:45 Jungle mentions he would likely call the previous hand with KQ. Really KQ would have been nothing (king high), and he actually gives away what he is currently holding this hand.
Are these THE "set up" FROM THE DEALER ??
I hate the running it more then once. But, if you do keep it an odd number.
Running it twice like this is almost guaranteed split.
This is the true cadilac of poker
Subliminal message of the day: "All that for a chop" 🤣
what a cold deck
real men run it once.
I only clicked this video for the costumes lol
Just two skilled players battling it out while having fun, beautiful
They both look hilarious in those outfits
With AA vs QQ I figure running it once or three times would be what to do. Either digest a lucky Q or get the lion part. To offer a freeroll to chop seems not what I want to do.
wat
They decide how many times to run it before the first runout... obviously
@@frame-perfectadskip9159 ofc.
@@beorlingo your "offer a freeroll to chop" comment doesn't make any sense.
@@michaell8624 makes perfect sense. Once or 3 times seems like the best play when you have the aces, run it 3 times there's a chance they'll spike a q on one board, but you'll most likely take 66% of the pot down, if not full pot, usually never 33% or none. So running it 3 times is pure profit, running twice you either hold on both, or chop (usually) and that chance to chop eats your profits. One time is always best bc you got great odds to make full profit. 2 times does seem like a freeroll to chop, when 3 times at least usually gives you profit (Not going on math btw, what I said probably doesnt hold up with equity and all that, just going on logic)
watching jungle massacre that water bottle 1st hand was just awful to watch lol
I like the outfit…. He should have waited 45min before making call.
Epic showdown!
Jungle really got lucky he could have easily lost 200 or 300 but got the cards he needed gg men I enjoyed this!
Was this the end or will it continue in the future?
I saw this hand live and I remember them running it twice... big suprise it was a chop.
I always wonder what motivates players like these to play these big games. Doug obviously has extra incentives here due to owning The Lodge, but what's in it for Jungle? Both these guys are so good that any edge you could possibly have has to be razor thin. Throw in the huge luck variance and I conclude there isn't much EV here.
I guess maybe they do it because they're bored.
Why do billionaires play poker? Has nothing to do EV or making money. Its for the challenge. Same with best players in the world, sometimes they rather play the best instead of beating up on shitty regs.
because they enjoy it and its not that easy to find a heads up game at these stakes. Jungle loves himself some nose bleed stakes heads up
Because poker is fun
@@mrsalt548 yeah naturally but it's fun because you think you have a good chance at winning.
I think he gave the money back after
So nobody’s gonna comment the time of the pair of queens

When was this?
I’ve played poker on acid. I’ve looked at trees on acid too.
and which was more fun
@@mbradycf playing poker. I was playing on the swop app.
Does it bother anyone that jungleman drinks water like he’s drinking from a milk bottle?
Played on acid. Godmode. I kept sitting out of a tourney with chip lead, bored. I won b2b tourneys. Knowing my opponents every move before they made it. It was fun. Streamed it on twitch. Would I do it again? Hell no!
Can you link it? Why would you not do it again?
lol Kinda like that cubs pitcher who threw a no-hitter?
All in with 2 queens pre flop in heads up...? Ok...
Seeing Jungle open by sucking at a water bottle, why did they not each get a bottle filled with apple juice and with an Old Kentucky label stuck on?
Also next match:
Ali - a horse thief
Doug - the hangman
Next theme is drag queens, Doug will show as Vanessa.
Sick
Jungle in my opinion is best player in world
Hey mister commentator Cowboys don't Rob people. What you are referring to is Outlaws.
Dougs like fine we can run it twice he should said once or three times considering he's got 3 to 1 essentially
Your graphics are horrible. I can't tell the difference between a spade or a club
Is this apart of the YMCA dance
Doug still looks like Vanessa
Running it twice sucks
The Village People play good wow
Reflective glasses no good
Yo jungle is the goat
Laj Mahal
😂😂😂
Lol. “ it blocks a lot of flushes here in Doug’s range “ 😂 That has to be the dumbest commentary I’ve ever heard !
it's correct and the reason Jungleman called
how high is deputy dan LOL
only sprung for the kirklands water? oof bad look hahaha jk
Costco is the Tiffany's of grocers in Texas
The guy in the brown (Doug) has too many stars to be real. A bit overdone.
Deputy Doofus
What’s with the Stupid Costumes ?
We like to have fun here

Bet you’re fun at parties (certainly not costume parties)
its pretty bold theyre basically trolling everyone in that establishment. Id love to read the back and forth of how this was pitched, the reaction, prolly some photos while out shopping for the lols
played for 6 hours and only 50k profit, i expected at least $500k swings!
10 buy in swing? you must not have watched the doug dnegs challenge
Yeah ok🤡
